Ultimate Ninja was a mainly a fighter but had some rpg elements in order to unlock new ougis and characters.

They better focus more on the gameplay this rounds, these ps3 games... i mean really...

Anyway, those characters look almost EXACTLY like their anime counterparts...the best graphics a naruto game probably get for now. But, some games LOOK like that...but their GP...needs work.

Buuuuut, ima big naruto fan, and i hope this game will deliver.

i'm sure this game will have at very least a better fighting engine than the garbage fighting system in Naruto: Rise of Ninja....  i bought that game expecting it to be fun due to the fairly decent reviews of the game.... however only thing i found was fetch quest after fetch quest, with a few quests that are run from point A to B and fighting random bandits.

The fighting system is so terrible in Rise of ninja, i have no idea what was in the developers mind for example to make the block button a teleport button as well, the end result is that another person can attack you, and say you react to slow to block the incoming attack, you can still press the block button causing your character to teleport behind the enemy (naruto's replacement jitsu) and nullifying the damage that should have been received...   

Because of that 1 horrible game mechanic xbox live and 2player fights end up being a teleport ring around the rosie ordeal.

The only real pro i could give the game is that if your not doing any quest and just want to explore the leaf village in all its glory, the game really nails that aspect.

OMFG!!!!!! This game seriously has me considering getting a PS3. I mean look at the animations!!!!! So fluid!!!! Me want NOW!!!! To bad it's dubbed though

the supers are seriously seriously overdone, to the point that it will slow down and break up gameplay
BUTTT

gameplay ACTUALLY looks good for once on playstation
i lovee the water runnin fights and the 3D movement seems alot more natural

did i see floating bawls of chakura on the water? collectible to re energize or something?

all the ultimate ninjas are insanely broken...if laertes can find infinite combos within 20mins then that says alot..
