Considering they can barely get SLI working until a year after and that Quad SLI worked like BEANS before, I have NO hope for this BLATANT PUBLICIY STUNT ALSO anyone read the DRIVER DON'T WORK and also there are no 8x x8 mobos AND as best I know there are no PCIe mobos with 8 electrically identical 8x slots either, so chalk this one up to the CRAP BIN. I won't lock the thread just to see if they can validate it.

4 7950 gx2's would be my guess. Granted that the source thread is more than a year and a half old, there was no driver support for a setup like that back then (and not any now either) and that there isn't a trace of benchmark results, i'd say that was just a gaaddamn waste of time and money.
