I not sure taking games and making movies are always the best thing... so I will say I am not too excited to see this happen, esp if it does suck and ppl rem a great game for a BAD movie... I have not played Halo 2 yet but I hear its a blast esp on Xbox live, or so my cous swears, I believe him. The story of Halo is good, so please lets pray for a good movie if there is one.

i also liked starship troopers....i am really  really glad they are demanding good ppl to make this movie and not just hurry down something to make money

i also thought startship troopers was a real bad movie
but part 2 left much to be desired in terms of action

halo is a real bad series
it has to be the best single player fps i ever played
i goin an buy a xbox just for halo 2

transfer transfer them to the movie.

THERE is no chance of a movie being made of Halo, despite it being the most successful game classic since Space Invaders.

Filmmaker Neill Blomkamp had been named to direct Fox-Universal's moving picture version of the game until the project fell apart last year.

After the recent launch of a new version of Halo, which tells the story of a bloke trying to win Master Chef, or something, there was some talk that the film idea might be dusted off again.

However Blomkamp told Movies magazine that there was no chance of Halo making the big screen in its current configuration.

He said the movie was "entirely dead" and the only reason that it was on its perch in the first place was because Halo fans had nailed it there.

Blomkamp said that the main problem was that it was being made by two studios who were not getting along, Universal and Fox.

He added that the film collapsed at the end of last year, and it's been stone dead, ever since then.

He made a trilogy of live-action Halo short films to help promote the release of the Halo 3 game, but they were not connected to the movie.
