you really need to get experience with more online games man Bloodwar
But COD 3 online is lots of fun, its not the MOST fun ive had with multiplayer consoles. THAT would have to be an actual 16 player LAN party on HALO 2......4 TV's, 16 RL friends, food from Wings, burger man and KFC and a CRAP TON of beer...man THAT is what you call fun.
It deffinitely depends on the experience you had however. I mean i had some great experiences on LIVE as well with HALO 2. One on one with Redlum and getting pwned....having lots of fun in makeup multiteam deathmatch holding a spot and just holding everyone ass off you for the rest of the game. These reasons could very well be why im not enjoying GoW online. However playing it with Trini's online does make the experience fun. I anticipate great great fun when Halo 3 comes out.
Ask redlum im a close quarters fighter, and cant snipe for sh!t....but when i have 10 beer in my head...yuh DEAD lol...somehow i just get uber when im tite. Anyway yuh go see
The single player in COD 3 i actually like allot. It wasnt hailed as innovative since it was very similar to COD2, but the gameplay is still intense and still fun. Some people thought it was bad but its because no one talks about it, (ask a reviewer of what he WAS expecting and he cant tel you his head from his ass about it...all they can do is critique, but they cant say why) although it was the main reason COD got popular in the first place. The advertising for COD was originaly about the single player experience and the multiplayer aspect of it just became so popular people dont really talk about it much more. The first thing spoken about in reviews for a game with online play is "how the online play is" with no regard for the single player experience at times.
Multiplayer in COD3 is good fun though. Playing it online with some friends we did enjoy the game and the level design does give people a better chance of survival even if you are a nub at the game. It could be a reason why people like it so much.
