Help to Download a file from a website (Got it!) + Router/PS3 Help...

Hey guys, my router giving a few probs with my ps3...

So i want to get the firmware update from D-LINK site....

Problem is, I can't download at all!!!

See if ya'll could download it....
I try using multiple browsers as well as download managers and it still won't download..

I also talk to dlink support and I getting piss-poor answers form them... THey only saying the link working, bla bla bla....



Also anybody with a High-Speed connection..If you could download the firmware for me and upload on www.rapidshare.com or other host..

Update: Problem not solved

I posted up something on the Playstation Forums to see if they know how to solve it...

Here's the problem though if any of you guys know how to solve it..

Ever since I bought my PS3 back in February I've never been able to connect it to my wired network through my dlink router (DI-624)

I also updated the router firmware to the latest..with no success

The ps3 connects fine wirelessly but my router is too far from it and cannot be moved closer due to internet setup reasons...

To get online, I need to disconnect my dsl modem cable that runs to the router and connect the ps3 directly to the modem/internet...

When I run the wired connection through my router to the ps3... I countinuously get a error message on the ps3, stating that an ethernet cable is not connected...and thus I can't setup my wired connection...

There's 4 computers in my house that need to be on the internet and I want this shared with my PS3 without me having to disconnect it all the time...

So can someone please help!

connect the ps2 through the router then use the cable test and see if there are any errors.

Wireless connection isnt the problem Slamming, its the wired.

I had done it with my ps2..and got basically the same problem as well...

Had to connect directly...won't go through router...

all pc's work fine, wirelessly and wired to the router.........

I looked into the prob a bt more...and realised that the ps3 not getting an IP from my router...

but DHCP enabled on it..any ideas???

if the ps2 could be set to a static ip that should work, also heard dat console dont work well with the security features enabled eg. wep

Well PSP works fine with WEP...and i doubt thats the case...

and what does a static IP do???

it would set an ip for the ps3 so u dont have to depend on dhcp to give it one.
