ok this is way too much to read so i just have a simple question for anyone if u can answer. I live in San Juan, El Soccoro and i use 256k dsl will the wireless perform better or will it disconect often and dip to low speeds often?

usb evdo +dsl thru ethernet then use windows to bridge

I use the usb ev-do modem when at the in-laws.  It seems to have some connectivity issues (in Valsayn anyway).  In the space of say 2 to 3 hours, you have to log on at least 3 times.  The info screen on the included software says something about packet loss.
