hello. seecarr11 here. im back after a few years without a pc build. still game from time to time but just not as part of the "pc master race". back then my pc was one of the first on here to crack 12k on 3dmark06, the red team had cpus that truly competed against the blue and there was no vat (and customs duty?) on computer parts... fun times indeed. 
just so happens amd is relevant again. quite a coincidence.
So im thinking im going to try a threadripper build in the near future, using my old cm stacker case that i had in storage. Depends on the budget.
Anyway, just saying hi. and i liked the booth GATT had at the expo this weekend. great stuff
