I've played a lot of strat games and I'd have to say that my favourites are Age of Empires 2, Civilization 3 and Rise of Nations [+ expansion]. Warcraft is good, but not the best in terms of pure strategy. I think they teach military management the best.

wait nah....what happen to the archmage?
blizzard on little ranged units + brilliance aura...make the enemy go mad with shifiting around their ranged support. and dont forget MASS FRICKIN TELEPORT

thanks for helping me with my warcraft problem. it seems that people may believe that the version of the game might cause connectivity issues with ADSL, but it does not. So, 1.14b with ADSL CAN work, just as well as 1.16a with ADSL.
G_Pinkie and Nitrate, again thanks. Also, maybe you should post the method on rectifying the problem, since I'm sure there are many more like me who have ADSL and wants to play WC:TFT on GATT's server.

Hi all, I'm sure this topic came about before, but I'm going to frustrate you all like so others before me.
I had recently got ADSL, and was unable to play any multiplayer games. I rectified this by calling TSTT and asking them to remove their firewall, which they did. Since then, I can create and join games normally, however, I have one problem with WCIII: The Frozen Throne. I am able to join games created by others, but others cannot seem to join games created by me!
I'm sure there is a simple solution < Or I maybe wrong yet >, but I fail to see it. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
