Ole Talk / Best soundtrack for a game
« on: July 22, 2004, 10:57:51 PM »
After listening to tonz of video game music there are those that tend to stand out in terms of quality. I'm not talking about the "let's slap different artists' mp3s together and call it a soundtrack" = Need For Speed Underground. I'm talking about soundtracks that were set and toned specifically for a game's  personality and mood. Those that rank high in my book are:

Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, both the arcade and dreamcast versions
Guilty Gear XX Soundtrack
Chrono Trigger Osv
Chrono Cross Ost
Tales of Phantasia Osv (Not the Ost)
Freedom Fighters Original Soundtrack
The King of Fighters '99 Arranged Soundtrack
Diablo 2 + Lord of Destruction
Silent Hill 2 Ost
Silent Hill 3 Ost
Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec Final Fantasy VIII Orchestra Version
Castlevania Chronicles Akumajo Dracula Original Sound Trax
Actually there's like TONZ more I can name but that's my 2 cents, if anyone is into collecting these sort of things and is willing to trade contact me on msn messenger chronox12@hotmail.com

PC Gaming / Is there any game more terrifying than this
« on: February 25, 2004, 09:41:43 AM »
Doom 2 scared me the most I believe
Nosferatu Wrath of Malachi was scary to me
Clive barker's Undying stopped being scary after the 2nd Boss for me
Half Life did have me jumpy at points
None of the resident Evils scared me
