NORTON PRODUCTS == POS.

That said no av is perfect so best to rotate them monthly and do complete scans at least once each time you change.

Sygate seems a bit buggy on win2k...but having tried almost all the rest on win32. For UI/Usability there is no better...so far.

injoy firewall...interesting. Nitrate always knows where the weird security stuff is ;)

That said, knowing how to properly configure any FW/IDS is almost always overlooked imho. I'd be willing to bet most people just blindly give permissions to potentially harmful processes...or harmful period.

No IDS is perfect and even less so without constantly evolving knowledge...so keep learning.
Your point is quite valid, even security expert says the same thing all the time..Point well noted.

Pnat or port forwarding or port masquerading or w/e new terms out there, it's pretty good for when u're using the router set as nat, likewise u gonna need a firewall on your computer if u did dnat though.

Card design are way better than the average geforce 6800gt, due the the lack of 256mb instead replace with 128mb for cheaper solution, its performance it still relatively descent in benckmarks, heck that a card i wud like to have.

Ha, amd keep this secret in bios update on the opteron and some early athlon64 set, was able to flash a opteron 150 with a totally different opteron model. Never heard the issue went public, but they truly conceal it.
