Seems to me that it's going to be the same type of dialogue that was used in the first one. How sad. They improved the visuals, yet Motoko looks worse. If you liked the Architect from The Matrix, then you may like this sequel.
Hopefully, Trinidad won't stick with its release, so that I could see this before exams start.

The no DDR thing was a surprise to me also. I met a couple of people who were asking me where the DDR was going to be. The anime was much better this time around,although I was disappointed with the fact that there was one less favourites screen(AC7 minus Akira,Bastard,Perfect Blue and some others). I remember being in the favourites room for about 4 to 5 hours straight.
Hot "food" was actually served this time around. Could it be the welcome return to Bishop's/Trinity East that caused this...who knows. The only actual downside other than the loss of a favourites screen,was the fact that I missed Read Or Die,which I was really anxious to see.
The e-mail that Genesis sent to everyone suggested that AC7 might have been the last AC. Naturally,I thought that they would have made some kind of effort to include something original,which would capture an audience without much exposure. Well,this was not the case. Should Genesis be able to hold more AC events,I think that they should have booths set up with computers,showing behind the scenes footage of the directors' takes on various anime and the making of anime in general. This will not include OVAs,but just various anime series,so that people may have some sort of understanding as to what they're watching when OVAs such as End Of Evangelion are shown. The booths could also show some sort of presentation about the origin of anime and what it has become today.
Just a suggestion,but it's something.
Let us hope that there are other AC events in the future.

Praise the man above for a better playlist than AC6. I shall be at the Main Hall Screen 3 for a good part of the day,except for the fanboys' favorite anime. I hope I am just as lucky as Sideswipe in AC6.
Read Or Die should prove to be an interesting anime to watch.

Does anyone go to AC events to see movies anymore? I always go to AC events solely for the anime. Even with the temporary rise of Yu-Gi-Oh in AC events,I never bothered to participate,because the tourneys were poorly organized and officiated. It might be the same this time around,once the playlist isn't as horrible as AC6.

I tried to adjust the time using the PostNuke profile settings(in PNtheme mode),but it isn't changing. Is it because only Aeolus mode recognizes changes in the PostNuke settings and PNtheme mode doesn't?

I have the distinct feeling that TechTV isn't going long-term with Anime Unleashed. They don't have anything new scheduled,nor is talk of anything new being shown. My only wish would be to see Serial Experiments Lain and Armitage III:PolyMatrix one last time.

My wish really came true. After venting my frustration in De Bar about Genesis going back to the Centre Of Excellence for AC7,that conformation letter that landed in my Inbox a few weeks ago was indeed a sight for sore eyes.
The Bishop's/Trinity School is the real place that can handle all of the mayhem that occurs during AC events. Hope to see something new this time around.
All hidden could think about is Yu-Gi-Oh. Lord,help that poor child.
