* ROFL *
Thank you very much ....
I am on Fire!  :happy0203:

I can't say what kind of bugs.  But I have a history of  personal  surprises with M$ products, I am saying this not to knock M$ down. I will wait and see what users say. May be will install in the next 2-3 months.  It's time consuming to deal with unsupported hardware, software issues, glitches and look for tweaks, patches and solutions.
Personal experience:
- Windows SP2 couldn't be installed on some OEM versions. When installation failed and gave you blue screen, you have to start from scratch original OEM installation (may be there was a workaround);
- Infinite reboot with Vista SP1 (ever got that one? had lots of fun with it);
- WinHelp file unsupported by Windows Vista, please convert to newer .chm files (very nice, ever heard of backward compatibility?)
- MS VC++ 6.0 is no longer supported on Windows Vista (or is it now? again no backward compatibility)

Glad to hear you have good experience, that's promising.

I am going to wait and see until whole world discover and M$ fix majority of the bugs in SP3. Hopefully, it doesn't have WGA glitch version 2.

* here is ANOTHER service pack coming out 13 of May. It's the fourth and final service pack for windows. It's called Fedora Core 9. * That's a good one.

Redfish, WASD, NoobGoneWild thanks for the welcome

WASD,  *ROFL*, thanks for the picture and can I make a signature out of it :)?

NoobGoneWild , well ... there is a little story behind it
One day, I surfed the Internet sea and end up on the different trini forum, there I made a booboo. I clicked signature instead of the button and instantly was teleported to GATT forum. Here I am now.

Hmmm... Well ... it's not so bad for T&T industry. T&T has allot of bamboo and if they will adopt the approach, then T&T can export bamboo urns. Interesting ... does cardboard degrades faster then garbage bags. I thought they are unbeatable. Anyhow, as a turtle I will not die, I will just compost away.

Hmm... so much money :) for 1 laptop, when you can get 3 CPUs and put it to work for GATT folding @home

Look at the cheaper wooden alternative from Fujitsu

Hey W1nTry

Don't know. But since you asked, that is what I see on the GUI screen

Donator: SeaTurtle (i guess that's my handle)
   Team: 71093
      WU: well all funny characters here, that don't make sense to me, I guess it's working unit ID, which was assigned to my PC.
Frames completed: 58/500 (as of dis morning)
Estimated: 61 (that probably means I am behind benchmarking schedule :()
Time completion:
2 days 11 hours

 My wild guess is I am not on the contributor list (stats) as yet, cause client has to finish to work on the WU and submit to the server, then I will appear aaah. But I am guessing, cause I didn't read the whole ting. I will also add another PC soon.

 I liked the project so I joined it yesterday, installed the soft, read couple articles. I have tonnes of questions about it at this time, but I don't like to ask without reading FAQs. I also like www.wikimapia.org (contribute there also) not sure if anyone from de forum is using it. It's like Google Earth, but you don't need to download anything.

Thanks man.
Much appreciated :)

Hardware, Tweaking & Networking / Re: Razer accessories
« on: April 21, 2008, 12:25:00 PM »
I am not sure.

I didn't find wireless references to it, my guess is that wireless keyboard will have a latency issue, which is crucial for gaming, that's why it's not on the product line, may be I am wrong.

You can check Microsoft  Recluza keyboard, they signed up agreement with Razer about producing  gaming keyboards awhile back. I wanted to get a good keyboard, mine have too much coffee. Will write a bit later about fun keyboards :)

I used Razer mouse (a ball mouse) awhile back, it was a good ting until I disassemble it.

Here is the one that looks like Lego

yeah strange tings around.

Also I want some features from the keyboard & mb BIOS.

Thanks, TheApprentice

Yeah, I just surfaced :)

Joined the team as well, you guys are looking really awesome at the folding project.
I didn't know that T&T team participates in projects like this as well... Hmm...
In the future, I wish you get some publicity in local media, so you can get more volunteers to burn some CPUs :). Anytime you look at it, it's idling, let it work :).

Hi all

I am a noob to the forum.
I thought of using this thread as saying hello, didn't want to create a new one.
I didn't know that T&T gamers forum exists as well.   Nice work :)
