Hardware, Tweaking & Networking / Re: FLow to Increase Speeds(again)...

People i would call and cancel if you signed up on a new contract.  Pay the higher price for a no contract service.  Flow will reach you sooner than later, and chances are they may reach before ADSL2 is even running in your area.

Whatever....they must have some TSTT workers on this board.

Read it and weap...http://www.guardian.co.tt/business3.html

Thus far my 6mbit has been blazing...15 will be sweet@!

Ok people, I finally got through and spoke with 2 different individuals, here is the deal...they are not doing any connections as of now.  It just so happens that my area is  covered in the Phase 1 but they said it will not be ready for another 4-6 weeks.  As a matter of fact they said no upgrades anywhere will be done before this time.

Now we can all stop calling 62-BLINK and go on with our regular lives.

4
I on hold right now! 10mbits is where i am. And I may take another contract b/c i do prfer dsl to cable anyway.

Have you spoken with a CSR?  Are they processing sing ups now?

5
Please stop calling the number if  you are not in the areas listed here http://www.blinkbroadband.tt/areas.jpg  People are tying up the lines for us who can sign up :P

6
Don't go into a contract!! This thing is about to heat up!

7
I can live with a 10mbit package

8
LOL, I feel that the bachanal in front of TSTT Park ST will make the iphone launch look like small thing

9
Go in...you know they like to make things as difficult as possible.

10
It will remain at 256k and your monthly rate will drop to $79.  You actually have to go in to the offices and request an upgrade.

11
Isnt Santa Cruz connected to the San Juan exchange?

Lol @ W and wat the blink was that.

Yup

12
Netizen1 I have a quick trigger finger...

Guys the fun is about to start....10Mbit from TSTT for $690, lets see if FLOW can increase to 15Mbit har har har

Hardware, Tweaking & Networking / Re: no mo torrents on Lisa....

You can encrypt your packets.  Once you do this it becomes impossible for any ISP to block torrents.  OR you can forget Lisa and TSTT and go with flow.

15
Great...now why am I choosing their 1MB package over Flows 2MB package?  Hmmm, thats right, I'm not....Better than that TSTT

Confirmed, have access to a 4mb in Diego and torrents max out the connection consistently.
