Been so caught up in the game, I completely forgot about this post again, so far were up to 14 trini's in our guild on the Jade Quarry Server, and we've been doing lots of dungeon farming trying to gear up all our characters and to a lesser extent playing WvW and sPvP.
It'd be great if you tell us what games you've played before so that we don't give repeat answers.
Anyway, any of the PSP God of War games are top notch stuff. Gran Turismo PSP is a great pick up and play racer. The Star Wars Battlefront series. Patapon series and Loco Roco series are adorable fun. Resistance!
The IMAX showing is very much worth taking in due to the fact that a majority of the film was filmed specifically for the IMAX aspect ratio. It was breathtaking seeing the action scenes on that massive screen. Compared to Movietowne, you cannot go wrong at all with the IMAX experience. The sound and video quality would be leagues better than what was seen there.
Sorry. I totally forgot I made that post. lol Nope. I've been doing this since December I think. My subscription expired 2 days ago and I renewed paying for 2 months for $2.
Cancel auto-renewal. Rinse, repeat. lol
I guess when they do decide to not run those promotions. I'm screwed.
Ok i have blink basic plus 1MB down / 256K up currently some years now. Thinking of switching to flow for a better online gaming experience on ps3.
Just a few questions.
So if i currently only play with online with ps3 blink users (my cousins) and I get flow instead will I still be able to connect to them, see them online and play matches seamlessly with them?
Will I have an advantage over them in terms of lag etc.? Or will the difference in networks cause them to somehow have an advantage?
I know its the same internet but just wondering with the inter-connectivity between flow and blink users. If I should just stick with blink.
Although I mostly play online with randoms.
If you make the switch. Typically online gaming on the whole will improve. You should get better pings when playing with randoms. The problem of making the switch is that you say your friends are also on blink. What this means is, if you're playing a peer to peer online game without a dedicated host server, since there are more blink users in the "party", someone on blink more than likely will be chosen as the p2p host. This would result in some serious lag for the flow user because of the increased latency between flow and blink users. However in most cases when playing online, a foreign p2p host is chosen and thus there won't really be a problem since the blink users and flow users are playing through a host. Overall though, this is a pretty small issue. It only really poses a problem if you play with your friends alone in private matches or locally hosted games. If you host the game, they will lag. If anyone of them hosts the game, they will be lag free and you'll be the only one lagging because you're on flow. If you don't do private match stuff, and play with your friends online with random people, then the issue isn't a big deal.
I throughly enjoyed this one. The slow build up...the sense of discovery and not knowing. The reception is very mixed on this one. Many people outright disliked it. I'm a fan though. Good sci-fi imo.
And d one thing bout that ps plus deal, u cancel your subscription, u loose all d games.
If it expires you lose all the games. If you cancel renewal, you still get to play them up to your subscription end date. BUT at the same time people are overlooking the value here. It's the digital era. $50 for $260USD in games just for this month's content alone. Then there's the free games for July, August, September etc..
Add up all you've gotten by then and you won't renew for another year? Also, you could simply play through each game you get for a one year subscription and when your subscription expires, that's that. It friggin saved you a lot of money than if you bought every single one of those games and you get to play games you won't have ever bought otherwise. Yes you never have outright "ownership" of the games through PlayStation Plus, but that's a simple thing that I have learnt to overlook.
IMO PlayStation Plus is one of the best if not best deal on consoles.
Yah, you know that I love Nintendo, but that's not to say I don't look at other systems. So when I saw this I say them Sony fools may like to see this crap! LOL
Yuh know, spelling the name of the system correctly or a bunch of words in your post might be a good idea. Also calling people outright "Sony Fools" is very immature of you and doesn't bode well for your Nintendo fanboyism.
Other than that, it's a great find. Clever script overlay to generate a download button from the YouTube streams. Will check this out.
