bleach should end for a year or three, give that mangaka some time to just concentrate and do the thing properly, because to me, the fillers just draining away the life from the anime, and the manga moving at such a pace, you need about 30 just for actual plot progress. look at hunter x hunter. the man writes about 10, break ,then ten... and yeah, its moving slow, but it's a good ten. no point in quantity with negligible quality. bleach and naruto start me off in this anime thing, but it sad to see how far bleach fall, esp. knowing the potential it have in it. Ichigo's bankai is almost meaningless now...what happened to the speed phantom?

beyond the shadow of a doubt, it must be Gintama. They had one serious arc that lasted about 10 eisodes, but when straight back into the comedy better than beofre. Nothing else that I see can even run with Gintama. it's hard-boiled comedy!!

Well, i think that it is safe to assume that it have a fair amount of people with an appreciation for Japanese culture and entertainment. i want help with two things.
Being a budding but amateur linguist, i bought a book - an introduction to Japonese language - but then I discovered that it would not be the simple case of learning your verb conjugation and some vocab, because of the writing system. And I want somebody to tell me, how i am supposed to go about properly practising the hiragana and the katakana ( I fooling . First things first - you could even write it using a normal pen, or you have to get a flat tip pen. 2nd, They sell flat tip pens anywhere?
and the next thing, it have a place in ST. A doing kendo. Anybody in it and reach the stage of handling the japonese steel?

People might say that I real wuless, but I like to watch real TV. I does watch all kinda thing, but latey Somebody ask meh , my fave five and I had was to think real hard about it. I s like it does be almost always changing. but so far this is wat a come up with:
Overall: 1- LOTR 2- Equilibrium 3- 300 4- Prestige 5- Matrix 1
Ad what I reaaly want to see more than anything is:
1- Cleric from Equilibrium in the matrix - yeah, no master scriptwriter could pull that off but, I reall want to see that one. that have real potential
2- 28 days continued, not that sequel.
and 3 - Troy with the gods in it and the accurate killing of Achilles.

boy... is almost as if the nikkodemus have a rep here for talking s--t, but 300 was real deep outside of the action scene. The throngs of people running around bawling - I am spartan- is not because of the action because it had better action scenes in plenty picture.
Is the Spartan thinkin! Dat was real deep if you think about the movie as a display of bravery - the ultimate in courage if not fearlessnees, the fortitude to do what you believe you should do and damn the repurcussions. I wish I was a spartan, but in reality, I's probably parchment writer. Most people is not no Spartan. Most people in today society falling under the 'women and children banner'. And the rest could probably go under Myrmidon.
How you could say that not deep? That on a whole different level than Troy. Troy real good because I think people just appreciate it as the best depiction of Illiad to date, (and it don't have no myth that could stand up to Illiad, eh. Even Odysseus fall way short on that). But nobody don't go around saying that they's Achillean. Them Spartans give a definition of hero in that movie.
Everytime I see West Indies play, I does have to watch it to revamp the spirit. That picture motivational in the true sense of the word. ( Aussie cricketer = Spartan / West Indies= unmentioned conquered small village)

Ey, I hearing a lot of talk going around about how 300 was just "all-right". "All-right" ? That moive was one of the dreadest things I ever see on a cinema sreen. Taht picture put Matrix 1 to shame. The only thing that I cyah put it above is the LOTR, and LOTR had a real big stroy to work with that Tolkien and sons was workig with for years.
300 take something that was chiefly historical and turned it into something real moving and deep. Matrix had rasta-man bawling in the cinema because Neo was dodging bullets, flying,... But 300, to me, was soooo deep, it went beyond the action scenes... What you appreciate more than anything was the idea behind it. The philosophy behind it was what had man making the war-cry (more like war grunt) while they coming out the cinema and while they lining up in KFC.
That picture was better than Troy and all. I guess Troy you really feel it when Achilles dead. I couln even sleep the first time I read that book. But in 300, all of dem dead out and it was still real good. Best depiction ever of Heroic Death. It even beat back Shane.
Pity it illegal to be spartan in these days.

Ey, dem hamtaro was good thing... and it won't be too bad to get some re-runs in that. Heh... Underneath the fuzzyness, Hamtatro was some serious action and all-rond dreadness. And "ent" is a word. A creole word but still, a word.
Short of starting an Avatar thread, NEO, you don't find they should bring back Uncle's son (or some new fire nationer) to add some drama to the fire nation side, since they kind of have everything under control now? Seeing as they done wipe out the pole and the monks?
And what you think really happen to ZukKo mother? Killed? Kinda harsh, no?

Well, I and all myself used to get vexed when people start the conversion sermon, and when I started this thread, I did just come from giving naruto a try, and it was just so-so. But after that marathon that cartoon network put down, I saw the face of naruto and now, I am a believer. It really kind of hard to get past all the many reasons for not watching naruto... but if you could stomach it for about eight episodes in a row, it gets addictive.
I apologise for all the naruto bashing i have done in the past.
Neo, for the deep reflection you do on avatar, you know when the they going to get some new episodes for season 3? If you get your hand on a dvd so that you could follow the story, you might like it, because even though it is less credible than avatar plotwise with the s--tjitsui, it has a more captivating storyline if you could string the episodes together.

well, i was asking about that, but the only thing they tell me was find somebody with a dvd recorder, and that kindad hard to do in trinidad, but it did have a marathn on christmas day... if you done watching the next season, season 1 won't be too funny, because they does keep refering back to the previous season to remind you of the jokes.
Micheal, with all he does try to come off serious, he off the same way as the rest of the family i find.

I looking for lower level physical work cause i cyah do more than 50 push up to save my life( well actually i reach the stage where i could do reps of 50 if i real push it), and i really don't want to deform my hands, nah. In my own time, cool. But when you reach in the class, i want some god quality training.
dem shotokanese does start to mutate after a while, but laertes, shat stage your partners manage to advance to?

allyuh thinking about entering that or what? Me and meh bro and some pardners thinking bout it. but that is real hard-ass work that you have to be doing. That is mad upper-body strenght that you need for the final stages.
you not talking about push-ups again. that is pull-ups, and plenty, for about a year
but it still look like fun though, no

Okay, good subject? correct board? Right.
I come to a realisation that the trini man is not really a fighting man. I spend the last couple of months after i bruise some bones in my foot, trying to rehab myself, and get my-self in shape to go gung-fu. And then, I say, "I cyah go gung-fu by myself", because I would have nobody to spar with really, unless i come out to make friends.
And is while I was asking around that i realise, nobody have no kind of interest in that at all! I say dem naruto people would be in the nin-jitsui, dem say, nah.
what about the dream to be a grandmaster? people din used to watch "kung-fu the legend continues"?
what i really looking for is any information on credible training you could get in the rarer martial arts - not shotokan. Like kung-fu or tai-chi
These shotokan people starting to come out of the woodwork. Dey kinda dread though, eh. I see one do like a thousand knuckle push-ups. By the time i reach 20 my knuckles seriously bruised, and is real pain.
I looking for a nice kind of deep inner-power training. Anybody in anything so? Purple dragon and all i investigate, but them does do a little too much running and push-up and squats seeing that classes is only for 1 hr and is money you paying. But anybody notice that the man does open the door before you knock and it have no camera?
karatikas of trinidad, give meh some feedback, nah.

well, I put it in the movie town section because the way it does have people going on about Naruto, i thought it would have had real men who practicing a little nin-jitsui on the side. so i say them woulda be the people to ask. And it does have something to do with movies, but anyhow...
Neo, people don't really kill people and thing again with the martial arts. Is modern arts that people does be using these days.
Purple dragon time-table not running in sinc with mine at all.

After about 4 hours straght, I could see why people like the naruto so much. But What I want to ask is if anybody actually check out any source of nin-jitsui training. Naruto is a nice thing, if you actually into nin-jitsui. And since you have to be learning some kind of style these days to be cool, I wondering if anybody find a master to teach them. I had a friend who find a master and was learning it for about two years or so, but the man does travel plenty, so it is a real off and on kind of thing. And besides that, I not sure how much you could trust a master in Trinidad.
But it seem to be okay, and not s--t-jitsui, that the man was teaching, because the naruto-in- traing manage to manhandle some shotokan purple belts real easy. And before he do the thing he was a kind a nerd, and now he does be doing pull-up on the water-tank.
If anybody know where you could get real credible, certifiable training tell meh nah, before I spend a set of money to get in gung-fu.

Smallville lose track of the story long time ago. They doing their own thing since about season 3. And all I saying, is if you have to change it - change it - but for a good, don't turn it into soap opera undercover. If I wasnt to wacth a soap I will watch tv about 2 in the daytime. When primetime come, nobody don't want that.
Heroes doing a good job of keeping it down.
Smallville kill off plenty people... not sure what they do with Aquaman, and they nearly make me hate G. Lantern ... but WB does have a way of running all their shows into the ground in a way that no other channel could compete with. Everything goes good for about 3 seasons then they start to mull everything up, and and Smallville is in the early stages of being mulled.
Well, at least to me. But I have a habit of jumping ship long before-hand. It have some shows that you could just smell going bad about 2, 3 seasons in advance.
Is just me, or it actually getting harder to find a good series to stick with. All I have is BSG and Supernatural if i remember it. And of course, Heroes and still deciding about Rome. Good tv getting sparse

I find that the time come to change Lois. she could have worked earlier on, but now... she getting more irritating. Smallville need to stop sticking becasue they starting to get like Buffy in a way, where you could skip a season and catch what going on just by the 'previously on...' If they not careful, it will end up like charmed, because they not killing off the people who need to be killed off, (Lana).
