I have been playing wow  on linux using wine-x a while now, so the support has been there.  http://www.transgaming.com if you want to check it out, it also has support for steam based games. and its commercial, but well worth the buy

warhammer is really good. no doubts there. never replacve warcraft tho. wow is jsut too detailed and has over 15 years of fanbase behind it.
