PC Gaming / CS Replacing TV?

street @ 11:55 am pst - articles & editorials - read comments
ABC News has done an article entitled (En)Counter Strike - Why Those Young Men Aren't Watching TV Anymore. It's about why television viewership has dropped for young males age 18-24.
What's causing this cultural earthquake? It's called, appropriately, Counter-Strike. It's a computer game, and even as you read this, thousands of young men (and a few hundred young women) are playing it on the Internet -- instead of watching TV.

56kers can expect a 300ms avg. ping from trinidad (not so playable)
adsl 128k users can expect a 115ms avg. ping from trinidad (very playable)

I [GB]_|v|ENACE | <<vaughn>> (clan leader) is now back in the T. so GB_clan should be resuming lan cs sweats at several locations private and public, as always the public and all other clans are invited to challenge or play with GameBoyz. Interested peeps can pm or msg me on msn for details.

GB is also looking for a volunteer skilled in flash to help with the completion of our website.

We will also be recruting 2 skilled CS players. to replace members that have recently migrated or gone inactive.

ss 2 is the best version in my opinion, very well balanced game for a few exceptions. Great last boss, good moves and combos, animated flare and style(can't beat possing while fighting and dolls) nice endings. genjuro and
charlotte were my favs.
