Yes, again.
My main machine is being a bit odd so I want to get a basic tower as a backup. Willing to spend around $3500. (Maybe more if it's worth it)
Once it's a complete system that's not 20 years outdated I'm good. I have mouse, keys and monitor already so just tower is needed.

Probably the third time in the last year I'm asking this but long story short, my main system is going under the knife and I have a serious backlog of work to complete within the next week or two.
As it's a temporary thing, I just need basic specs. I can throw my old video card.
Max I can spend right now is $1200. Would love to get it by Wednesday.
Thanks in advance guys.

Slightly frustrated atm so sorry if I posted in the wrong spot.
Bought a mac(Mid 2009 used) about a couple weeks ago for work and upon updating to Mavericks from Mountain Lion the system significantly slowed down til a couple days ago it just stopped booting up. It reaches something called Disk Utility and from there there's a bunch of stuff that my newfound impatience just can't deal with.
Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who could help rectify this problem? Need it as soon as possible too because I don't have any other working machines at my use and work is piling up.
Thanks in advance.

Well I do need something decent enough to run Adobe Photoshop without issue.

I've been warring with technology over the past year or so. My desktop died then my laptop, got a new laptop and this one seems to have some issue with Photoshop.
I was looking at some basic diy tower bundles on newegg but I though that I should check here first.
Any of you guys looking to part ways with an old tower soon? Probably around the price range of $2000? I know at that price I won't be able to get much but it'll be better than what I have now.
Not at this very moment but probably closer to the end of the month when I get paid.

Getting rid of old/neglected gear to make room for new.
Canon XSi(450D) w/ 18-55mm kit lens + Canon 430EX Flash(bulb needs replacing) Free LowePro Camera Bag + 16gb SD In Good Working Condition. I lost the lens cap for the 18-55mm though. $3000 w/ 18-55mm $3500 w/ 70-300mm $4000 w/ both
Sigma 70-300mm Macro w/ hood, UV filter and pouch. Barely Used. Excellent Condition $2000
I'm also looking to replace a slightly faulty(needs cleaning) Sigma 17-70 f2.8-5 Macro. The lens has been my buddy for about a year and a half now so the body itself shows a lot of wear. SHARP as woah and works fairly well on the wider end with low light. Only problem is that the AF is super slow/inaccurate so I manual focus mostly. I've been told that it can be fixed by cleaning it. $2500 as it's still my main lens for work.
PM for contact/etc.
