for those of you who are plagued by this windows validation thing (cus it mandatory now) all you hav to do is
-open internet explorer (yes, u use dis)
-tools>manage add-ons
-under show you select "add-ons that have been used by internet explorer"
-disable windows genuine advantage active x control
oh yeh you have to install it and den disable it (ironically)
now you should no longer have to validate...theoretcially

spk boi spake fuh yuhself...if yuh set foot in de computer lab...de computers is crap... de TD lab has de best computers and de computer lab stull runnin on dem 7 year ole 300Mhz P2 Dells that doh even have a floppy drive any more... even de network connection slow and outdated at 10Mbps... all de "NEW" computers in de computer lab break down except for 4, an dem ready to conk out...

in any case, who would like to donate to the CIC TD-Lab Switch fund? we are in dire need of $550 in order to run games nicely...rite now we on some chupidee 18 port hub and experience many crashes...we intend to invest in a nice 32 port switch with that $550 to make our [illicit] gaming experience better...

aye...i have one teenee weenee lil problem... irc for some strange reason not connecting to the irc servers at all...the servers themselves...not the channels

my external ip is lets say 200.123.123.123
and my internal is 192.168.254.1
if i type in that 192.168.254.1 from any machine in my LAN, i get the ftp... if i type in the 200.123.123.123 from down de road yb meh partner i eh gettin in

i am using the external ip (ip given by tstt... the 200.81.xxx.xxx) and i've asked a good bit of ppl to try an connect...windows firewall is disabled...i have no firewall at all...i dont believe in dem tings.lol

well i setup de filezilla ftp server on my computer... i set it to listen on port 21...then i set the speedstream modem to forward port 21 to my server 192.168.254.1 and for some reason i can connect to my ftp server from inside my lan...but not from the net...which i want to be able to do...
