Thanks for the insight, Baego, and the words of encouragement. I will persevere. I'll be expanding my recruitment to the Jamaican gamers soon.

lol @ pay offering
Tides to craw.

It's a serious question and a noble endeavour.

Since the inception of GATT we have struggled with the issue of profanity.

Currently, it isn't allowed on the forums, GLs, nor the mailing lists.

We are a little bit more liberal on the GATT chat channel though. It's not good to have EVERY single aspect of the association under total \"kiddie safe\" vibes.

Also, I can understand your concern for cordial play. Smack talk is not fine for everyone, nor is strong profanity. Some people take offense and we have seen emails come to GATT admin about it.

My personal compromise, not being a vulgar person myself, has been the proliferation of acronyms instead of the actual words. MC, IYMC, HYMC, etc.... It has the same \"effect\" but without the vulgarity.

Good luck with this.

Don't forget Smut Fighter where you can smack your opponents with the dreaded Triple Pamphlet attack. Good one, AA.

Hmmm well the next thing is a christian gamers association of trinidad and tobago
CGATT.... where pastor cuffie and a whole stream of    christian leaders could be moderators I wonder what games will be recommended or allowed to be played
Solitare
Pacman \"not ms pacman owing to the fact that could lead to lust\"
and then they would have to make their own game \"Rapture can you miss it\" thats to increase financial contribution by members

That's the point. We have to deal with it on the public BNet (that's a given), I shouldn't have to deal with it in my private clan. That's my choice.

yuh cant run from reality, there is cussin all over the place, yuh just have to learn how to deal with it, not let it get to you

We wouldn't restrict our play only to the clan. The clan would be for testing out new strats b4 taking them to the public Battlenet. Playing against the computer offers no contest, it's best against a person, the more people, the better, actually.

lol

Sorry, Janus, didn't mean to offend any non-Christian religions. Of course, all non-cursing peoples are welcome. Dang, of all the forums in the world, who would have thought that I would run into a sensitive gamer

Hey Trini gamers. I have some Bajan Frozen Throne gamers looking for a Battlenet clan to join. Any clans open for membership?
