Anyone ever read the cable and deadpool comic? Turns out cable is as badass as the pheonix. Deadpool is more interesting though. Extreme healing factor, and the best ability - he KNOWS he's in a comic book, and will talk to the reader. mentions the "fourth wall" i.e. marvel's wall seperating the comic universe from ours (i guess that's ink and paper...).

I know comics are not easy to come by back home, so i'll share the 18 comics if a mod says it's fine.

You are right @ hard to come by back in good ole T&T... I am a bit concerned about the copyright part, so my suggestion would be to probably state what it is you have to share and have ppl PM you so they can obtain private links to megaupload and such sites, or your own if that suites you. But just not directly accessible via the forum. I for one would be quite interested in seeing whats been going on in the comic world and how the artwork has progressed over the past ohh... 7 years since I bought a new comic book... sighs... such nice memories.

the metal on cable as the story goes is a cancer that his mutant side kept in perfect balance. When the cancer receeded, his mutant power grew exponentially, such that even when the cancer came back, his mental powers were able to hold it off with ease. The story is the present day some time after cable has destroyed apocalypse. So far, it seems he believes he is going to die - and his goal is to change the world for good.

1. pulls individual virii particles out of a dying anarchist teenager
2. reads the minds of everyone on earth at once (he knows when you're talking about him)
3. instant teleports
4. in a day, he telekinetically prevents thousands of car accidents, cures diseases, receeds aids in aftica, straightens the leaning tower of pisa (which didnt go over that well), fights crime, fights the governments trying to stop him and dismantles the arms on both sides of multiple conflicts.
5. Has actual balls

Art's a weird thing. You can come across masterpieces like kingdom come every so often, and then there's beauty in more traditional styles like Hush.

I know that Nate Gray aka the X-man (from the age of apocalypse, created by Mr. Sinister) had ridiculous amounts of power to the extent where it was killing him. I also know that the metal on cable was hampering his powers...but wasn't he purposely infected with that metallic virus to combat the legacy virus he contracted as a baby whom was taken to 1 possible future by mother askani aka pheonix (aka daughter of Scott and Jean)? Cable without the metal is basically strife whom was also a result of the cure to the legacy virus no (a clone)? it's been a REALLY long time, so excuse me if my stories are inaccurate or have been re-written as they do too often.

Honestly i'm not the biggest fan of SouthPark as I find most of their humour dry and too american to be funny. However every now and again I am totally blown away and lol roflol, etc. Cyah rem exacts, but most recent season ep 10 I THINK. Its the WOW episode of Southpark, classic imho!

Back home, politics (still a joke) seemed boring - never paid attention to it much. Over here though it's hard not to. I love shows like the Daily Show, Lewis Black's commentaries in his stand up routines, and then southpark - a lot of news-based and fairly often political humor. I would not have found it as funny if I wasn't familiar with it, but being here, and my tv set to comedy central, can't help but be immersed in what's going on; at not just the who, what where level, but the who f*&ed up, what f*&ed up, where f*&ed up level.... OR maybe i got older, and prefer to laugh at real life than let it get me down, who knows?

Taped that but the drivers to my card mesed up the volume - just fixed it by reinstalling the software. Next time I snag it i'll drop you a link - my bro wants it too.

Two things...


The "Fourth Wall" the abstract barrier between any fictional narrative and the viewer or audience.  For example... when a character in a sitcom turns to the screen and acknowledges an audience this is known as "breaking the fourth wall".

...Just clarifying in case you didn't know or if you did know... in case someone who didn't know thought it was marvel-centric.

Phoenix is Omega Level, Cable is Alpha level, as cool as Nathan is, jean is more powerful

Omega Level isn't a level in the manner at which all the other levels operate. As far as I can remember it means limitless potential on the scale of matter manipulation, reality alteration and as. I mean...Iceman is an omega level mutant but he is not, currently on the level of either Jean or Cable. Gambit is also an Omega level mutant (or would be if Mr Sinister handn't tampered and limited his power via experimentation). Either way.... THIS current cable isn't operating on an Alpha level if you look at it in a tranditional sense of levels. At all.
