Homeworld For Jews

  I just got an oldish game , homeworld 2 ... And now i'm realising the ideas behind the making of it . The basic plot is that these '' Exiles'' travel back to the ''Homeland'' and liberate it from the ''Operssors''  , and now are unders siege and have to defend it... Lots of the names are hebrew or jewish , Sobaan , Elohim etc. So obviously its 'Jews in Space'.  Funny isn't it?

 I respect jews just not what they are doing ,he game itself is superb, the only flaws are that it has no difficulty setting , and by far it is the hardest RTS game i have ever touched . 
   
  It has an RPG aspect in that : any upgrades to your mothership ,together with the units you build , will be carried along with you into the next level . In homeworld 1 and Cataclysm , it was a nice feature , made the game fast paced and interesting , no long 'building up' involved.... But in 2 it is moot
   
  You are guarenteed to loose ALL the smaller ships you build SEVERAL times during each mission, thankfully your individual units can handle themselves well enough in combat  , cause half your time is involved repairing them , securing resources and building new ones .

 Thankfully halfway through you get to build capital ships that will withstand a beating and can act as resource points/construction centres on their own .
 
 If i had little or no prior experience in RTS games , it would be impossible. The game is for hardcore RTS and homeworld 1 fans , cause only they could beat it.

That reminds me. How many Jews are there in Trinidad? I wonder why Jews never emigrated en masse to the Caribbean in general?

 Very few , if any , probably mostly expats . I know people who claim to have Jewish ancestry , but none who practise the religion. Never seen a temple or rabbi in trinidad .

where i used to work before, there was a jewish customer ( a local guy.. )..  used to wear the yarmulke real regular ( the cap)



also heard , after ww2, and before the establishment of israel in '48, we had a few refugees from the destruction in europe, who settled here for a short time...

dunno if they related, but in petit valley, there are a couple jewish street names..  'ben gurion','president weisman'  and some others i cah recall now

It's not a religion that permits conversion. One of the requirements is the mother must be jewish.
