One of the things I have been doing for the last few years has been checking out movies I missed the first time around. A few years ago I saw the Godfather series, then Goodfellas. Last night I saw Rocky for the very first time. It might sound amazing to some people that someone could go so long without having seen it but what can I say ... it happens. Anyway, the movie was something else. It was so simple in many ways and yet so emotional. Of course, that theme song had a big impact. For a movie revolving around a sport, it is interesting that you don't really care what happens at the end in terms of the fight. You just want Rocky to get to the end and for Adrian to be there with him. Truly something worth watching for those like me who may have missed it before.
