Joker although a Psycho i'v always liked his style and the fact that he is willing to get his hands dirty and not just throw money around makes him better in my book.

hmm i remember in the past on this forum and many major comic forums and websites

when polls are created for greatest comic villain, joker almost always invariably wins.

He is a  true criminal genius
and as they say, the line between genius and insanity is quite quite quite fine.

Joker is obviously everyones favourite villain. I rather see him in action than Lex.

But yuh hadda admit it takes some balls to take on a man who does walk through walls and lift up mountains, fly, super fast and see through womens skirt and shit. AND yuh have no superpower of yuh own. Lex could blow up pakistan if he want......and walk out scotch free.

Joker is more kicks and even deadlier but in de end is some hard Clout from the Dark Knight and is straight to Arkham IHMC!!!

I am 1 of the few that voted for Lex.. actually 1 of the 2 seeing as thats all att of voting. Anyways, don't get me wrong I think joker definitely has the theatrical part down bar NONE and yes he does come up with some really twisted albeit comical plots and gadjets with which to twarp the bat. However as a villain, Joker's scope has never been large enough imho (forgive me if i'm not 1 to read the darkknights books and thus have never seen joker go on a world domination spree) but he is but a very limited villain whom is to the best of my knowledge, concentrating efforts in very small geographical areas. Lex has faced Batman, Superman, the entire friggin LEAGUE... (granted and lost repeatedly) however with his intellect, finances and dabbling with powers far beyound himself (at least in JLU) I can't see how joker  quite matches up in scope, strength or capabilities.

joker is a sociopath. no remorse, intelligent yea but no supergenius.

lex is a criminal mastermind/ supergenius. the scope of lex's dabblings are never small sighted nonsense, he has more global things in mind. he fits the bill as a SUPERVILLIAN!! and he has no superpowers...


seein brainiac mix with lex in jlu s2 was in the hall of fame for  one of the most awesome supervillian moments for me. (seein him get lixx from flash was also wicked fun)


and lex in superman returns was a downright insult to the lex of the comics/ jlu animated series. he just doesnt count.

Lex wasn't always super intelligent - years ago, comics portrayed him as a rich conning businessman, being a danger through money. Usually implementing plans through others such as Humanite, or Darkside for his ultimate technological plots.

Joker lacks knowledge, but he's a genius at knowing how to break people. the comic where he paralyzes Barbara Gordon for life was pretty sick. some of his plots are also quite elaborate, and on a couple occasions, he solves a crime before Batman, and taunts him.

Lex wants control. Joker wants death. control lasts. death, on a large scale - which he has accomplished, only takes a blink of an eye which is why he seems to "fail" as he's always caught - even though he accomplishes his objectives.
