From what I heard though, tickets have sold out a couple of weeks ago though, since they only catering for a turnout of about 700 or so...

And to answer your question kiya, being a regular to that event...

Normally it's a bunch of projector screens, where they run anime almost nonstop (barring time to change titles). There is usually a main screen, and then there's smaller screens that can show different titles, or they may rotate some of the shows, so if u missed one at a specific time, you can always catch it later on.

There are also screens that may be dedicated to marathons of a specific anime (DBZ, Naruto etc). There's even a screen for more 'mature audiences' where there can be increased levels of violence and/or nudity. There are even screens which are for reserved audiences, who paid extra on their tickets, that would be able to access those areas.

In addition, there are usually other features within the event, they often have various merchandise for sale. There are also people who do cosplay that would come out for the event, and sometimes even little gaming tournaments etc... for a long while Yu-Gi-Oh was a majour attraction, until card thieves had ruined it for us, but it's always worth checking out if you are interested in anime to say the least.

There's probably more, but I'm too sleepy to write any more at this point...

The TriniCon event that was planned by Genesis, it is valid for this event, but the tickets need to be taken into Genesis HQ for restamping.

Well I just got an email, saying that there will be an AMV competition, as well as a Anime dubbing competition:

Hello Everyone,

Plans are moving apace for the return of ANIME CITY on January 27th!!

We'd like to announce a couple of contests that we hope you all will
participate in:

THE ANIME CITY MUSIC VIDEO CONTEST
We did this before some years ago and it was a big hit - so we thought
we'd give those who missed out a chance to show off their editing
skills.
To enter all you have to do is put some of your favourite anime scenes
to to music and create a MUSIC VIDEO. Length should be no more than 5
minutes - Pornographic and adult subject matter is not allowed - No
use of local or indigenous songs will be allowed - Music Video must be
supplied to us on DVD only and will not be returned - Entries are free
and we will award First and Runner-Up prizes ... We need a complete
and finished version of your clip by January 15th, 2007.
All winning entries will be shown at ANIME CITY BLAST!

DUB YOUR OWN ANIME DIALOGUE CONTEST

In keeping with a project we'll be doing at several North American
conventions next year we thought we'd bring this to Trinidad as well:

Simply take your favorite anime scenes, digitize them into your
computer, plug in a mic and get your friends together to add new
dialog! Add titles, credits, music and sound effects … anything you
want to add. The sound track is completely up to you!
As before, we need a complete and finished version of your clip by
January 15th, 2007. It must be no longer than 6 minutes in length,
including titles, studio logos, credits and anything else you add.
Clips must be submitted on DVD Video (as in burned to a DVD so that it
plays when you put it in your DVD Player)
Please make them as high quality as possible – the resolution for the
final product should be at least 320x240, though 720x480 is preferred
and will look much better when it is played back!!
We would like to keep the dialog in these clips somewhat creative so
please, keep that in mind when deciding what sorts of dialog to use.
The better the quality, the more likely that people will enjoy your
work. Don't be afraid to spend a little extra time on the details and
make sure you send in your absolute best work!
We are absolutely NOT accepting anime using scenes from Adult Films of
any variety! The material you create must fit into the "PG-13" rating
(so limit the language and think carefully about choice of topics).

ANIME CITY reserves the right to accept or deny entrants for any
reason, so please don't give us a reason.

Once again - we'll be awarding prizes for FIRST PLACE & RUNNER-UP.
All winning entries will be shown at ANIME CITY BLAST!

For more details email us or call at 627-8433 or 727-1591 .

Well if you want any specific anime titles, you have to contact them beforehand and preorder the anime you want, and then come on the day of the event itself to collect it...

On average about $200 per DVD, depending on the title, only way to say is by asking them directly.
