F.O.A.K Dissolved
« on: November 29, 2005, 08:08:19 PM »
Well it's happened again... The Flip and Kill Corporation has dissolved, this time more than likely, permanently.

Don't want to go into too much detail but it has alot to do with not being able to sweat anymore and the fact that its not fun for me at all. I have a lot of fond memories with the crew, even more memories of the original crew but it's just not the same without mark and yuri around. To the now former members I thank you for taking the time to join the clan and stay with it all through the dormant stages up till now. To Crixx I say a special thanks, you never stopped wearing the old foak colors even when it became so faded, you're probably the last remaining pure foaker from the original crew.

Shoutouts to the clans that we had the priveleges of sweating with - Shadow Skill, FIA, X (even though was jes baego most of the time lol), FEAR etc.

*all video productions by me will still sport the foak productions logo* :P

Yeah, Crixx has been loyal warrior to the last. Same goes for Bob.

Sorry that real world incidents had to take Yuri and Mark out of the picture.

It really hasn't been the same for FOAK without 'em.

All the best in the future.

rofl @ beating beek0p with no mouse.

but wait, laertes still on the scene.

crixx ever present.

rb on the forums more than most and works at  JK, a big GATT sponsor as his day job. A gaming store no less. He even did the banners that run on the gatt site.

Bob makes his infrequent ninja appearances every now and again.

Why is this clan closing up shop again?

I would say because we were once the second largest and most active clan around.
Second only to the borg that was SS , that absorbed all in their path.

We stood our crowd and had many well fought battles with the enemy, far and wide.

As life would have it, alot of our members arent able to continue on the path of the warrior and have a presence at constant battle.

Iam assuming that is the wish of hokage rb sama and larry daimo to not continue to have the clan run at this somewhat crippled state.

So i humbly retire my sword with the rest of my clan mates.
I dont think the principles of foak will ever leave my heart though and for the ones we've lost, ill never drop the banner.

Unless there is another clan with the original members, i dont think ill ever join another clan again ^_^.

Special shout out to the sempai that inspires me in all things ninjaly, Bob Sama. ^_^

Way,

That is loyalty to the bitter sweet end.

but I think there is a reality in all of this that we all must remain aware off.

Over time, we as gamers will grow up (albeit forcibly) and encounter challenges in life that will detract us from the gaming scene. Especially the more involved clan battles and sweat action. Marriage, Jobs, Accidents, Kids, Migration and the list goes on.

There is only one true counter to save a clan from this, and that is timely and sensible recruitment.

It is a job in itself, just as it sounds. To scout and secure new fresh warriors for your clan.

In recent  years, we have enlisted new members to X to bolster our ranks. [X]-LordJin, [X]-Thinners, [X]-Crackerjack, [X]-SpecialK and everyone knows [X]-BryanMaster. All having to best an existing clan leader/commander to get in the fold.

Without 'em we could easily be hanging up the sword in a similar fashion.

The thought of crixx no longer being a clansman is scary. Let us hope the "lessons learnt" from this will save other clans from going the way of the dodo.

SS wasnt a borg, it was an unstoppable train that at the time  no one knew how to contain or stop. :)
