A hero for Trinidad
« on: November 29, 2006, 09:06:01 AM »
If superheroes, DID exist, who would you want as a "protector" of Trinidad?
A person who disperses his/her own brand oif justice and protect the innocent.

To me....Punisher would be a great asset.

Papa Bois is corruptible chain  up his head and give him some land to roam and he good to go

I say batman cause he does dig deep and go after the head while beating up the small fry along the way, all he needs to do is is to kill the small fry as well

we would have wide spread gun fights just like gotham and new york and L.A thats waht.

Dare devil is a great candidate indeed.

Vigilante yes, because we dont have natural disasters or supercriminals on the level to warrant superman or something.

But we need someone that can handle the gang fights, deal with the socio economic problems by fighting the drug trade on the low and high levels, have a duel identity that has vast resources to benefit the nation with jobs and resources for hard hit areas.

Iam not suggesting batman even though it may sound like it. Ill do more research into who may be that hero. But now thinking of it, iam thinking Green Arrow.

Because we need someone who can infiltrate the drug and gang and kidnap rings and we need someone who can out right fight with gun toting criminals but not KILL THEM!!!!! that is reallyyy important!!! ANDDD we need someone with enuff money and resources that their public face can do just as much for communities and the island in general, as their secret identity does.

So, rich boys who make the runnings.
The Green Arrow.
The Batman
Dare Devil
IRON MAN

and iam making 2 other additions who dont fit the other bills, but their super powers would be great assets, along with them being minorities where they come from, they would be able to identify with the issues of the land greatly.

John Stuart and Luke Cage

Hmmm, after reading over my post ive come up with some more criterion.
Supporting tobago as equally as he/she supports trinidad AND being able to support the rest of the carribean with natural disasters.

So in this light id have to say this super hero needs to be powerful enuff to fight gangs and drug people.
Have enough resources to make a difference in communities that need help.
Be able to take the fight to the high and low levels.
Be powerfull enuff to support tobago and trinidad at all times AND have a carribean presence.

This further narrows it down.
IRON MAN
The Flash
John Stuart.

Flash doesnt have the money, but has the ability to protect across wide distances and fight gangs and drugs but would not be able to fight high and low. PLus he would be horrible at infiltrating gangs and so forth.

Iron Man, is more than powerfull enuff for support and fights, can do alot for communities but again would not be able to get into the gangs and drugs but his effect on the whole may be effective enuff to make up for that.

and lastly

John Stuart, more than powerfull enuff just like IRON MAN and can infiltrate and stuff. Military background is an asset for dealing with community issues and stuff but dont know how he would fare in court and stuff.
John can be better than all the others at infiltration and stuff.

So i will need to do more research.

funny neo..

and aids

before dismissing everything i said and suggesting the midnight robber.

Did you actually read what i said? or what anyone else said for that matteR?
the reasons why people are suggesting these foreign heroes?

If there was a local folk lore hero that was capable of doing all the things that we need done to help this country, then iam sure that we would.

But since Midnight robber CANT do all those things, then maybe yu should be more open to the possibility of outside help. Dont be a xenophobe
not cool

I still say Punisher. Why? Cause we need full stops, not commas.

Men in Jail and still calling shots on the outside. And the justice system in a mess.
Scenario1. Super dude bust in apprehends the criminal and drops him in prison. What happens? Nada.Cuz he smuggle a cell phone in he bamsee and order the witness killed, if he didn't get out on bail and do it himself. He walks free.To do more.

Same scenario, but de criminal bounces up half mad Frank Castle in an alley, gets two bullets(one for each eye). The rest of the criminals know who did it, so they come after Frank. They get some bullet pills too. No waste of tax payers dollars, there will be space in the Prisons(might even have to close down a few).

De man jus fed up and doh care.I once read an issue where the Punisher wanted some info from a guy who he knew wouldn't talk. They were in the forest. The guy woke up to find his stomach cut open and his intestines draped over some branches, with the promise that Castle would put them back in if he talked, and talked fast. Now that is somebody i would like to have on MY side.

where can i get a copy of midnight robber...i had a copy of the first one at that was it.

John Stuart = Black GL

um, the whole punisher shooting up the place thing is super duper flawed

why?? cause it just going to ENCOURAGE de flikkin gun men!!
dey gonna see it as a man operating outside the law hunting them down, so then they will be justified in retaliating with fire power!
PLUS!! the police will have to go after punisher as well!!

You people are being close minded on this. we talkin bout wat if they were real!!

would you want frank castle spraying up your neighbourhood and kill your child or baby sister with a stray bullet??? i think not

The super powered non killing solution is  the best

When fighting an enemy they know they have NOOOO posibility of defeating with bullets, they will be discouraged from doing so!

ITs alot more effective to be a strong arm of that sense!!!

baka
