PNM has come a long way

The people of Trinidad and Tobago must be kept down in the ditch in which they are , or they must be pulled out of it. My colleagues and  I lack the qualifications to keep you in the ditch . We believe that we can help to pull you out of it , and that the way to do this is by the organisation of a party such as I have described - a democratic party of men and women of honesty and incorruptability , of all races colours , classes and creeds , with a coherent and sensible programme of economic , social and political reform aimed at the development of the community as a whole . Dedication to its service , appealing to the intelligence rather than to the emotions of the electorate whose political education it palces in the forefront of its activities.

   Irony we have a man who is saying ' He doh eat chicken ' to our problems.. Remind me of ' Let them eat cake' by marie antoinette . No one apologized to the chatham people who Larry Achong cuss out.. PNM came a long way from bieng the salvation of the people from colonialism to a farce  ( reading eric williams autobiography now ) .
   At one point in time Eric Williams made it his business to educate the people on their history with a series of public lectures - now we have a government keeping us in the dark as to what is going on.

i get frighten when i see the topic header dred...

but is the truth eh, and i wouldn't call eric williams a PNM man, he was in the party true, but his TRUE loyalties lied with the people of the nation, not with a part, the party was just a means to an end, unlike some politicians today, who only care about themselves and the people in the party. (and by some i mean most if not all)

i sure that poor man turing in his grave b/c of all this commotion in the country.
