aye fellas normally i would not bother to post questions like this but, i fed up search through these post...

i now that the service (- the DSL cost) for WiiConnect is free, but do the games themselves provide free play online as well, or do you have to pay the makers of the game to get that feature?

well, there a no online games out yet....T_T

but

gamespy has teamed up with nintendo, and developers all have the wifi online system for the wii now, and the first game to use it is going to be pokemon colloseum, then the next wave of wii games (smash bros included) will all be online yay!

Wii=
1. Cheap (console and games relative to compition and average pricing of course)
2. inovative new controlls
3. relatively good and some super good launch titles
4. FREE online community base (well - DSL cost)
5. Free online play (again - DSL cost)
6. ability to playback all the old consoles' games (for a price, given, and who know maybe some more online *crosses fingers*)
7. Ability to lose weight playing games (LOL

)

so... why people buying the rest?

thanks for the info i made meh nex gen choice, Wii IMMC (well have to wait till christmas, nintendo and their bundling go be a good buy, plus my mom only goes twice a year

), 360 was close but i looking for something that i could get the whole family on, even grandma, we go put she to pong some rabbit head...keep she quite...errr...entertained...

because some people can afford and or prefer variety, and doh care if it free or not, once they get what they pay for

Gaming is pretty expensive nowadays anyway. Prices in consoles, games and gameplay has gone up....meh doh bother me.

The Wii is a low price console so their marketing scheme is true and effective.

Anyone gone gulf in a while? The damn controller costs combined more expensive than what i pay for the system.

about 500-600 for the nunchuck alone, I almost ask the lady if she want meh arm too.

i went back the other day and when i ask about it they look at me like i was crazy but thats what the worker told me when i ask her!! they have games like zelda, dragon ball z and so on for 575.oo!
