Thanks, although i had already decided against it
i realize what is the problem and why my ps blowing out all the time, for a while i just though it was the quality and the power rating but is the rail amperage.
this qualify as power hungry?
I using a Prescott p4 3 gig w/ ht, 1 gig ah ram, XFX 7600GT, 1 120gig sata2 hdd, and 2 80 gig ides, with 2 thermal take SF2s @ 3000+ rpm (yeah noise) and the rails they on <18 amps sometimes, or rather most times on the cheapos.
and i also tend to run games allot on it and downloading to the drives at that time too, meaning that i pretty much maxing the b***h out and stressing it, to boot, i doh really shut down often.
in fact since last week this is the first time in a while my pc unpowered.
i looking through newegg now but i want something that you guys go recommend that will run it with out the hit on my pocket, right now i broke per say i have 300-400 tuh spend on a ps what allyuh could recommend?
all it must have is 4pin-12v, 24pin mobo power, and about 4-6 modulars.
was looking at this, i see its dual rail so any good?
