  All techies should rejoice! this means, when your office at work gets upgrades again,  it will actually be able to play games on them cheap dells!
    Intel obviously realises at least one of two things : their integ sucks, and if they let AMD get away with it , they can steal the low end market entirely (sempron+X300>celeron+intelsh!t), and Vista won't work good on the POS they have now .

MUCH sweatage can/will be had if/when they start purchasin these PCs.

Well when you consider the next int DAAMIT chipset is at least of X700 level, it's only sensible that nvidia HAS to make a decent video to match otherwise intel would get wtf pwned in Vista not to mention everything else video related. Intel's new int SUCK B@LLZ. I read the review and they said it could barely play old games and could barely manage with something like Sim2 and i do mean BARELY..(read no textures, everything dumbed down and no effects). I wanna see exactly what level of gpu they will int into the chipset... nvidia best watch its back before intel do what they always do to their partners... FC&K then up the @$$ the minute they can manu an int themselves that can match...

Baego that's about as intuitive as our gov making a smelter to make millions NOW but suffer long standing environmental effects for decades. If they make a buck now and in time get screwed (again) by intel, where they going next? filing for bankrupcy? it has to be sustainable, I agree its a good move atm. But in the long run, how is it helping them?

This is gravy for nvidia. They wtfpwn the discrete market.

they have proven for a decade that they can handle intel and all commers for that matter.

Nvidia will still be able to compete and likely beat intel when the contract is over/broken.

Well I hope so... its just with Intel buying up alot of discrete graphics engineers lately... I think Nvidia has to be concerned.. and of course with the DAAMIT deal... that too puts them in a precarious position... alot of the CPU manus are talking and projecting GPU on CPU type processing or platforms that move towards that... I know its many many many moons off, however once intel gets it mini-core arch off th ground and DAAMIT gets its GPUCPU where will that leave Nvidia? let's face it Nvidia work wonders on the high end... but their bread and butter is the low end and main stream... if DAAMIT and Intel come out with their own int solutions to match, Nvidia will not be able to match the price... and then what? my whole stance is I WANT nvidia to be around for time to come and with whats going on in their current eco-system I see them being kinda pushed down the food chain...
