flip you don't need to buy a Dreamcast cause it have emulators for that too and this dude have to be mad to say that you could be too old to play mario. Anyway i love my Cube and i love my collection of Mario and Zelda Games. It sure beats the very short list of SOLID games for the XBOX. Nintendo has always been consistant and ahead of the market interms of their innovation.

okay, recieving enough hate for the 'mario comment' but i din mean nothing by it, is just that i play 2, i can't remember the name, cause 1 mario= the next mario and i find that it is enough. i would recomend it to someone who never play ti before, but to get big and old playing mario i can't do, i i not going to buy a Wii to wait for mario releases, but tp zelda looking good.

question now, an emulator is software right? and then you'd need some hardware too right? emulating is a part of modifying then, yes?
i can mod my xbox to play ps2 games? i think if i could it would make more sense to do that than buy a ps2.
and what is with the different types of modding? anybody mod an Xbox? or get it to play ps2 games.
everybody always have horror stories about moding the ps2. i doh want to f up the box. JK hang up on me when i call him.

I doubt you can mod an XBOX to play PS2 games but the controls would still suck (my opinion). Emulators are software but in most cases they run on the PC so you don't need any additional hardware. All you would need is roms but that you would have to source for yourself.

nah yuh can't it just doh have enough hardware power to run the software to emulate the hardware that the games (more software) can run on and on top of that all that software need ram that the box short on, for instance you can get a fair share of arcade games to run on the box, HOWEVER certain games require a much faster CPu and a lot more ram.
Theroetically yes, practically no.

you can get alot of N64 an PS games and games prior to that to run satifactory on it though, especially the N64 games.MAME games such as MVC, the street fighters and Metal Slug can run really well also, ran ms6 just last night.

modding the box is a thing you just doh leave and collect back, tell them you want to see it, say you curious, this way yuh sure they eh roughing it up OR giving you a premodded one (which some places do, buy premodded systems in bulk) and letting you go yuh way.

i think JK uses Xecuter lite 2.6 or Aladdin chips - Both really good mods.
or if you can find them still, there was a place in central using the Xecuter3 and installing a 80 gig HDD fuh yuh too, 700 for the mod pus they giving you the latest xbox software.
and yeah the controls do suck but then again i eh like nun ah them, too uncomfortable, i want ah control ah doh have to wash after a week of play, ewww grimy-ness. XP

on the other hand any mod will do just remember to get a bigger HDD installer, an 80 should do then download salyers evox installer 2.7 (yea! xbins have it) and read up on how to install.
or get the people to install it for you, i does use my box now to stream stuff too, i watching all my anime and thing on meh tv with xbmc 2 now...he he he chi much cuter on the big screen.
