well i spoke to my school principal! we have 100% use of the 4Computer rooms for gaming! there will now be a school gaming society {clan}.. well i did it so can you!!! speak to some school principals and mabe we can organise some sort of inter school game tourney!

It's not often men rise out of the wood work and make things happen on this sort of level.

Nah that shoudnt be so...that is leisure time they playin in....wats the difference between that and football during lunchtime?...if it keep them from lightin up the herbs (not that u do) in the back of the skool during lunch then i for that....if ur playin during class time well that is a NO NO, that is serious matters

  Nah , a couple schools have half decent pcs ie. quake 3 and DOTA playable . In convent we have a whole pile of  2ghz celery with SiS integ graphics.. but a good wireless network , you can bring a laptop and plug in .
   School gaming league won't make too much sense , men from CiC and QRC will dominate . Not many men up in the east or parts of south are exposed to high quality gaming ie. Source, Battlefield 2, Warhammer , Company of Heroes .
     I sure if i check the cafe in arima or grande i'll still catch a pile of men beasting SOF2 , bunny hopping and spraying , trying to snipe with shotgun.....
   What would help ALOT is if we were allowed to use school facilities for these activities.  The network and power infrastructure will all be in place , alot more locations to choose from . Likely there will be toting of machines , but the monitors will all be there already , lan cables run for you too.
   For that to happen , we obviously first need a degree of respect garnered only by promoting gaming as a healthy pastime . Only real way we can do this is to have gaming events televised ( gayelle and tv6 have NOTHING better to show i can assure you, no cable immc : ( ) and maybe a national gaming tourny with a proper ladder system , including all major games and all potential clans .

G-force 3-4       <== like 16PC with these! COD2 med settings runs ok
SiS integrated   <== Alot! lol! war3 high 1024x768  settings! should play COD2! will play source
Wrieless network   <==4rooms... 3 with PC's 1 empty so byoc!! woi woi!
only 1 sound system!  <== we have to bring we headphones! lopl!
lol funny some 17-15inch monitors! but wokinng! lol!! haha!

the school is Dell! lol! the best PCs are dells so you know how gay them things get on when they rdy!! but they replace the systems as soon as they go badd!! so! amm! lol! this is about it!

Impressive indeed. 2+GHZ PCs plus effective 512Kbps internet??? And in a gov't school at that! I can assume the school got all this setup with little or no help from the Ministry.

all my experiences with dell = badd!

they all happen to stop workin some way or the other!

 Dells are bad but they tend to be better than alot of the ghetto builds i see in tdad regularly, but best bang for buck is always a self built machine : Dell makes you buy a copy of windows and a monitor every time (Dell monitors nice tho) , thats 300 USD you can save right there.

And them Machines in that school REL ON.......pres (when i left) had some lameazz petrotrin sponsored 400MHZ (beige) Intel 2/3 that used to take 30mins to boot and 1 dial up spread across the network......good for Brood war though...
