IMO naruto manga is still one of the best... Bleach has gotten montonous , the latest  arc is repeating  the soul society arc in the opposite direction...
 
 you go into an unkown world to save character X , get stronger.. meet up pals .. fight.. win..

  get fraid you not strong enough... get stronger in the space of an hour.. fight and win !

 For shonen , Naruto is doing a very good job of keeping the storyline interesting  ....

 


 The flashbacks to Jiraiya's past WERE necessary , though they could have been shorter..
   The latest fight is definately the largest scale yet.. when the anime reaches this point sometime next year you'll be able to appreciate the scale of the battle ...

 I'm expecting a major plot twist tomorrow , either Pain pulls Rin'Negan's true power to defeat Jiraiya , or we find out that Pain isn't the big boss, just an egocentric stooge.

Supposedly the Rin'Negan can 'unmake the world' so it does come with more than the ability to split conciousness and viewpoints..
  Like the sharingan has 3 basic abilities , hypnosis , prediction of movement and copying of jutsu...
  Byakugan can see through objects , see chakra as well as give near 360 degree vision..

 the Rin'Negan will likely have more stuff to deal with, perhaps one ability for each ring of the eye? lots of stuff left over to keep us guessing...

 Another prediction would be that Pain pulls out the clone of Yondaime , which would make the fight much more interesting.  Just as the Anikin Versus Obi Wan fight  , similar jutsu clashing...
   Rasengan versus Rasengan , similar taijutsu styles plus we'll learn about Yondaime's flicker and the other things he developed .

I doh care who say how bad Oro was, or how good other battles were, it's doutbful many save Pain (and perhaps a  few other Kage level nin) could have taken on Jaraiya like this and even so, Pain technically is cheating as its 6 of him vs. One. How many other nin in Naruto altogether could take on 6 Kage level nin simultaneously? Listening? who? what? didn't hear ya? Oh on another note I think Jaraiya is @#$%ED... not that we didn't expect that but... it's not often we're treated to seeing Sanin level battles... now we'll have 1 less Sanin to see fight... 2 down... 1 to go...

Well considering he's missing an arm and can no longer perform seals... I think right now he's closer to death... I guess at least he has Ma and Pa, but with his inability to perform much jutsu (no hand seals)... they'll need to perform something akin to what Sasuke put down with the snake... some kinda space/time jutsu to survive... either that or Jaraiya has ONE last trick up his sleeve... an ultimate jutsu as it were (though that 4 frog soul seal seemed like it) I mean... after gaining knowledge about akatsuki members esp like Hidan... yuh would think he'd have completely destroyed the bodies to ensure they couldn't come back...

 Hopefully jiraiya  kept scrolls for naruto's instruction in case of his demise .. containing whatever jutsu he needs to defeat Pain .

 Similar syllables , probably looks similar in kanji , so the old frogs prediction may hold for all three or two of them...

  Naruto may have as much as 2 characters in common with Nagato the 'Na' and 'To' syllabes.. if someone feels like googling it or did a course in kanji they could confirm this.

Jiraya DID leaving something for Naruto in case he was defeated.. this was just after he ticked those low level Rain guys for information the frog he summoned for such a purpose was shocked he would do such.

This week I am sure they'll do a lil flashback OR they'll switch to Sasuke/Itachi just to prolong the suspense... its a typical Kishi move... my only hope is they don't switch to sasuke/naruto and when they switch back all we see is level carnage and Jaraiya in his dying moments... Haku could do one handed seals as well, an he was jus a lil youth.
If nothing else Jiraiya could certainly still do Rasengan. Though if it was me I'd summon Gamabunta an tell him to get me the **** outta there.

now jaraiya is my fav character, followed by the legendary 4th(Who i think would whoop pains butt like if he was a baby)

I don't think Kage Bunshin comes even close to this. Unless that frog can explain it all to him he better rest that thing down and not touch it next thing you know he trigger 6 tail or seven tail by accident and mash up Konoha.

There's one interesting bit though, he could technically decide to reseal up the Kyuubi. Unlike Jiraiya, Naruto wouldn't know or even be able to speculate on any master plan Minato had in sealing the Kyuubi the way he did. Naruto is in fact quite pissed at Kyuubi for nearly killing Sakura. If the frog tells him that the seal was weakened intentionally by Jiraiya and that they could 'sew it back up', would he choose to do so?

That's what he's been doing ever since his fight with Orochimaru fight if you recall.
He was happy freely accepting Kyuubi's help when it cost him nothing but he's not going to put Sakura in danger again.

Actually you're not completely right, after his little spat with oro and damaging sakura, he has subsequently relied on Kyubi chakra, namely to develop the RasenShiruken! noted however is that he was under the STRICT supervision of Yamato and as memory serves me he went multi-tail or at least tried to in said training. So actually he has used it and will continue to use it most likely, that aside against PAIN it's VERY doubtful that even a 3 tails Kyubi would do much good. So the decision to seal up the Kyubi completely is a bit out of the question if he wants to protect those he cares about from Akatsuki... more likely is he'll have to look deeper in the Kyubi forms, as Jaraiya pointed out, he only unlocked the DARK or YANG (Or is it YING) part of the Kyubi chakra..

THe ONLY way this makes sense to me (extrapolating from the 4th's intentions and the discussion with the scroll frog and jaraiya) is that Minato knows that only the dark chakra of Kyubi is dangerous and as such exposing Naruto to it so that he would develop not only a resistance and improve his own chakra reserves to combat said red chakra but the eventuality is that once he has the ability to completely control the DARK chakra, he can then unlock the LIGHT chakra for his ONE TWO punch. A boost in power that is good with the arsenal that the dark chakra (under naruto's control)  to add to the frey making naruto powerful beyond belief... its a theory that just came to me but hey if it comes to pass, just remmeber where yuh heard it first!

Yang is good. The Ying chakra is all sealed up.

But Naruto wasn't using Kyuubi chakra to do his fuuton training. His transformation to tail and multi-tailed forms was because of the concentration he had to put out when he was training. One of the clones would get frustrated and that would start the transformation. If you look at the rest of the clones they don't even exhibit the characteristics of 0TK. And Naruto himself doesn't show those signs when he's uses the finished product on Kakuzu.

I think that Minato envisioned an eventual blending of Naruto with the Kyuubi's yang chakra. I'm thinking something along the lines of Hiei and his Jao Ensatsu Kokuryuha (Dragon of the Darkness Flame) in the sense that Naruto will assimilate the Kyuubi into himself and be able to call upon it without it hurting him.
