But how come she eh buss down the mind Confusion Jutsu she fadda did use when the sound and sand had attacked Konoha?

It was hinted at in the chapter where Asuma was dying, that she had some sort of medical jutsu training (as she said her medical jutsu wasn't good enough to help as too many vital points had been hit) and asuma told her not to lose to sakura in love as well as in being a medical ninja.
So leh we see what gonna happen...

 I think Kakashi could definately be the next hokage , he already has hokage level jutsu . He knows over 1000 jutsus and has proven that he can fight toe to toe with someone who HAS survived a hokage . Yea he did get real beat up , but i think it was a 1 on 1 fight , and he didn't have to waste chakra protecting Ino and Chouji, he might have been able to win , if he could squueze out a 5th chidori to kill all his hearts , or buss out mangekyou , he could have handled the akatsuki fella, probably dodging all those sick attacks instead of blocking them.
     He has been trained by the 4th , and is a great teacher as he figured out the best way to train naruto . And lets not forget Sharingan:  he can analyze enemy jutsu even if he can't copy it  and find its weakness. Plus he has mangekyou sharingan to stand against the toughest foes , like Itachi ( considering he got support in case he ran out of chakra) , and knows sealing jutsu to handle cursed seals , and maybe even bijuu?
   And i don't think there are any other jounin on his level of skill anyway . If Gai could release a few gates , he could probably beat kakashi, but he doesn't know as many jutsu , and that i think is  a major requirement for bieng a hokage i think .

Well I don't completely agree with everything you said. Yes he is a genius, yes he has a crapload of jutsus in the bad, yes he was trained by the 4th and is a decent enough teacher himself. But... I not sure I would say he's the most skilled Jounin (special) and in a fight against Guy, well we know they face off regularly and up to before the time skip, they were pretty even. It's prolly worth mentioning that guy prolly is the best taijutsu user in Konoha, and perhaps kakashi is the best ninjutsu user in the village. But then for that matter, Kurenai is prolly the best genjutsu user... so without being the best of at least 2 or more jutsu types, I think its a little stretched to say kakashi is the best. He definitely would be a prime candidate but I am really curious as to the outcome of an all out battle with Guy who would win. Sharingan is great IF you're fast enough to dodge the attacks EVEN if you see it coming, Lee demonstrated that the first time he and sasuke fought and even Itachi said not to underestimate Guy and that was after wtfpwning kakashi. So perhaps we'll be treated to another rock paper siccors match and see what the current score is with those 2.

IMHO:

i dont think kakashi could beat gai nor gai beat kakashi, both are equally devastating in their own right, gai would have to use his gates to keep up with the uber jutsu kakashi could put down, and this will deteriorate his body, kakashi would have to use up chakra, leaving him jutsu-less if the fight is long, and it will be.

meaning that both will be crippled to an extent, it would prob have an out come like the sasuke/naruto battle, one prevailing over the other by a hair.

If you were to measure them as ninja they are equal.

Gai might not beat kakashi if they went all out (they are of the same village so would have not used any killing jutsu against each other during training), after all kakashi is a genius and expert analyzer, and although if gai could release a few gates to do some damage, unlike kakashi he wouldn't last long, after the gates start to take their toll, is small thing for kakashi to move in for the kill.
And of all people i doubt that Kakashi would underestimate gai, he would have probably though of a way to beat his super speed by the time the fight start, or a way to avoid his attacks, after all the sharingan can follow the movements the best out of all abilities.
(but it cant see behind, which gai would have already figured out, as well as kakashi, leaving gai with the choice of frontal or rear attacks, and both will be equally dangerous, however at least a chance exist for the rear to succeed)

why i say gai can't beat him, is that he prob can use his kage bunshin far more effectively than naruto, and can prob come up with a a way to disable gai and use the chidori from a bunshin or another similar high damage technique.
Kakashi's only flaw is his chakra level being low, but he like shika, the kight on the battle field.

Kakashi ent no uber man, he just uber at ninjitsu, and gai know this and wouldn't get to confident with he speed (as lee sometimes gets), as well as we haven't seen the true speed of gai yet, he as fast a lee is without his weights on, and that is when he have HIS weights on! So this gai (hehehe) prob uber fast.

PLUS gai has mastered ALL types of konoha (and prob foreign) taijutsu, and it is crazy to think that he don't have a signature move like kakashi have chidori, ah mean, the guy had to have come up with something during training...

and keep in mind, orichimaru had said that itachi stronger than him, and yet itachi go say to watch out for gai?

hmm well guy does have soem signature moves, he has the stronger konoha senpuu and he has that peacock thing he does when he opens the gates and fires a thousand punches at the person at super mega high level like he did to shark face dude's clone thingy.

Um itachi= > all except prob leader of akatsuki.

Gai is dangerous to any foe and really dangerous to non expert sharingan users, but itachi is the best of the best of the best sir!

 Kakashi surely isn't the strongest ninja in the village , Jiraiya and very soon Naruto will be able to beat him. 
   
But bieng hokage is not only about bieng strong, it also involves wisdom. Gai sure as hell is strong , but imo  isn't as good a tactical thinker as Kakashi , and he  is too much of an optimist to be hokage i think. As we'v seen , he let Lee go all out in a fight that nearly killed him because he had too much blind faith . Like his father , Kakashi understand that lives are worth more than honour and would never have allowed that to happen if Lee was his student.
     
 Also , a hokage wouldn't have to be able to beat his opponent 1 on 1 , they will summon creatures to help them and usually be accompanied by ANBU .  Kakashi is also one of the few with a summoning technique , though dogs not taking down a giant frog or snake , they would help alot in conventional ninja battle .
     
Kakashi has proven he  is a great defensive fighter , his chakra levels are not ''low'' . Its just that his killer jutsu involving using Sharigan wear him out  very fast.  He would have no trouble pelting rasengan, Futon , Katon and Suiton jutsu whole day probably  , but his strategy is to take out the strong opponents FAST , hence chidori and MS . If them akatsuki men weren't immortal ,  both would be dead already .
   
 Granny Tsunadae runs out of chakra herself too  if you remember , against a fully powered Orochi  without help she would surely loose , remember , if that battle with orochi went on long enough , they would have caught her almost defenceless, she couldn't even maintain her Henge . She isn't as strong as jiraiya , but has alot more sense than anyone who spends their life writing porno novels.
   
 It would be like Shikamaru over Naruto for hokage , Naruto is stronger but Shika wins all his battles on intelligence alone...  the man keeps trapping S class criminals with the SAME jutsus over and over, he real hot.

Imagine this team: Kakashi (as sensei), Shikamaru, Shino, Neji
Tell me that is not Uber pwnage....
Intelligence, jutsus, anti-chakra, ranged vision with close range speciality. The only other man we coulda throw in there to make it even more uber would be sasuke, but he is effectively a missing nin now so ah well. I have a question though... who would win in a fight now (post time skip) Sasuke or Neji??? 0_o

It would make for an EPIC battle though... could you imagine the utter uberness of that battle? Sharingan AND Byakugan sensing motion at close range (save Byakugan sensing in 360 span), sharingan sensing next move, elemental jutsu vs. Chakra shielding, km range vision vs. line of site... it would be EPIC I tell you... much more exciting honestly than a Naruto vs. Sasuke round 2... we're talking about 2 advanced bloodlines, 2 Jounin rank nin (well as best I figure), 2 nin with exceptional intelligence in battle, 2 nin taught by Uber level sensei (granted Oro is a boss, but the Hyuga head EH no small fry, not to mention the wealth of knowledge of the clan I sure he has studied). Chakra manipulation to the highest heights... *sighs* too bad we'll prolly never see this fight... ah shucks...

but as for the neji vs. sasuke...that is an hard one, we eh even see neji full potential in the post naruto vs sasuke arcs, 'cause if that bastard get some more jutsus under he blet he good, prob use something like granny used on kabuto for disabling an opponent, i mean the guy can control chakra release through out he whole body learning a medical jutsu or two shouldn't be hard, and if he increased his speed even a little, tapping out the points @ the beginning of a battle would be (trying to resist X0) uber (damn.) cheapness.

  A Hyuuga vs Uchiha battle would be epic , Jounin Neji might be the only one other than Sasuke/Naruto/Kakashi/Gai who could stand up to Itachi :  Byakugan sees through all genjutsu , so Tsukuyomi may not have any effect on him , his 360 degree vision and ultimate defence would force itachi to buss out some uber jutsu to beat him .
     
Plus , if Neji could score a hit or two , itachi may be in trouble , no chakra .  The other part of the story is : THIS IS MC ITACHI! He will be very hard to deal with , too fast , too strong for half Neji moves to hit or do much damage . Plus... What if Itachi could copy Neji's moves? Sharingan can see the basic chakra structure of a body , it may be enough to use jyuuken . 
    And not counting Mangekyou sharigan , That Amaterasu black fire burns through EVERYTHING , it may not be possible to block it , plus he has a 3rd jutsu to use  that we haven't seen yet.
