North korea has confirmed what we'v known for a long time , they have weapons of mass destruction. UN is rushing forward to impose sanctions , but NK refuses to back down and says ' Sanctions will be seen as an act of war' And seem to be moving forward for another nuclear test.
    Now war is an unsavory proposition : NK has twice the troops of the US or south korea , a large air force , tanks , and of course nukes to defend itself. It won't be a pushover , and also , NK has nothing to loose , the country is already sh!t , any war may win it SK territory and riches , SK bieng a 1st world nation with 12 times the wealth of NK...
   The aftershocks of a war have the potential to be catastrophic , Japan and SK will surely jump in on the side of a US lead coalition, and a nuke to Tokyo or Seoul means : NO PS3 , NO  DDR MEMORY , HALF THE PEOPLE WHO PLAY DOTA DEAD...  Loosing RAM and sony resources alone will cause amazing damage to the world economy and gaming as we know it... 
 Whats your take on the situation?

 difference is , north korea spends 20% of its GDP on weapons and training , that would be the equivilant of our government spending 19 billion  ( T&T GDP 90 billion) , or half our budget , to build up an army to invade barbados .
   NK was a former soviet territory , alot of their weapons are leftovers from russian occupation or bought from russia at  cheap prices.. ever saw Lord of War? 
 

 Only good thing is that we would finally have a world war 3 to make a good Call of Duty 4 or 5 .

GG guys, talk about the sarcastic synical comments... a WW3 has alot more implications than no PS3s. We talking nuclear fallout, death of 100s of MILLIONS. Russia is only US friend becasue back in de 60s Russia and Cuba nearly team up to put nuke in de US doorstep. and US HAD to play nice... but they were sure to intercept nuke deliveries from russia to Cuba...

Some people on the thread need to take this seriously. I mean like allyuh said before, the name of the game is deterance, however North Korea being a 3rd world nation, that word don't mean as much to them as, to the rest of the world. NK don't have even have half of what the rest of them have to lose.

And for the sake of the better world for North Koreans, who knows what they might be thinkin!

why do we need to fight to begin with? i wish we could have a world like the federation in star trek, not driven by personal gain, wealth, a world were poverty and dieseas doh exsist, that would be a greater accomplishment than putting a man on the moon (yes US you). if that is the case then from a biblical point of view alot of things need to happen and happen fast cause how much longer does GW have in power?
i mean no doubt we seeing some signs of the end times (earthquakes, tsunami's, wars and rumors of wars)  but gw needs to yank some serious balls if he is to trigger the next world war.....but then again it looks like this Texan just might do it.........i jus hope america doesn't put him back in power again cause for sure the world will be like how trinidad is now...
