I bought a Palm TX but I am having a little trouble connecting to the internet via the device, WI FI is a snap but i cant get it to connect via my bluetooth phone, i have an mzone unlimted account on the phone can some give me a walkthrough

You need to put an 'initiailization string' in the bluetooth modem settings on the palm.
I dont know the Palm interface, but what you put there should look like this:  +CGDCONT=1,,"internet"

Enter it just as it appears (including the quotes).  For the phone number, use: *99#

Took me DAYS to find this lil piece of info.  So now I can use my Nokia phone as a bluetooth modem without the use
of the sometimes annoying Nokia PC Suite.

the string worked but i had to do it a roundabout way since palm makes you set up a conection plus a network i put the string in the connection settings then i had to set up fake network  and tell the device that the isp was not listed using a non us location worked thephonenumberdidnt work though i had to use *99***#1 , i am actually posting this from myTX speedisabout the sameas dial up but its great for when i am not at a wifi hotspot this device is great it even lets you use yahoo messenger thanks for the info now if i can get a version of AOE for palm os itwill be heaven

Is because of like-minded folks on forums around the
world that I was able to find this out.

If anyone else uses their phone as a GPRS modem, let me know
