I just had an epiphany. Linderman's plan is very much like that of V from "V for Vendetta"
Same sort of purpose.

well it's a matter of perspective, that is, who is "deserving" to die.

In Linderman's eyes, the people deserving to die, are those in that city.

But aside from that point of contention, I found the message that both him and V are trying to send to society at large to be similar.

i dont think linderman believes they deserve to die he just thinks that they will be a sacrifice that will bring people together, thinking people deserve to die is something different.

We have seen this concept in it's most extreme at the end of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Anyways   V blew up the parliment building because it was symbolic of the oppression the british people were enduring.
                 He killed because come on man  is nut like he could have run for elections and try to win that way.....fight fire with fire.....be it indirect or direct


The ideology of killing .07% is to bring the overall population into a common frame of mind this being into the mind frame and set of a healing attitude and period. Therefore when .07% of the population dies everyone else who survives will be so traumatised to the extent that they will go into a healing period and therefore rebuild and come together in brotherhood and fellowship and kindness and equality to each other..........if you need an example go back to 9-11 and ask yourself what happened that caused a majority of the american people who were against the war in the 1st place to want to go to war. Please note the idea of attacking one's self to give reason and purpose....lenderman being slightly opposite to the evil politician (forgot name) from V for Vendetta
Democracy is only a veil over your eyes making you believe you have options when you are only led to the option of a decision which has already been made for you......Its communism just in a subtle sexy manner.....come on I know you saw the Matrix....**slows down time and flys to Tobago and back**
Another fine example is WW2...Franklin D. Rosevelt campaign was built on the idea of not sending young american men to war in europe.....idea also held prior to WW1...but after pearl harbour every red blooded and patriotic american was willing to be up in arms and run in to kill Krauts because of the duty they felt to those who died.. who they lost...and the new born realization of fear that was comprehensable due to a home ward attack.
Plus we have Call of Duty due for all that.
So our kids mite have call of Iraq or something  
Anyway point is.......well if you didnt get the point you duncie (no offence).......or you just have a higher order of understanding.
