Crix Madine was also a central character in Rogue Squadron for the N64.  He provided some key intel and support for many of the missions in that game.

yeah he defected from the empire and joined rogue squadron as tactical military leader
he was a boss.

He also created the storm troopers,guys designed to fight the alliance and the jedi, pretty cool.
