nah neo, heroes, beat down even aliens. But seriously fellas, who had the bright idea of making machines the most powerful and supported theme in yugioh. Anyone see the new machine cards coming.
One of them has ancient gear golem effect, plus negate any trap that targets him, plus when he finishes attacking he destroys a trap or magic on opponents field, plus he's lv 4 with 1500/1600. WTF?
There's another one who can boost his attack by 500 for each card he discards to the graveyard, up to 3 EACH TURN, YES EACH TURN, your opponents too, plus when he's destroyed you get to draw a card, then there's the gadgets, WTF man.

Hm? Oh, ha, ha.....sorry man. Would've responded sooner, but I couldn't hear you over the sound of the rampant probing. My humblest apologies.

then there's the gadgets, WTF man.

WTF indeed. Them thar Gadgets be trouble, man.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some probing to supervise. Today's Burstinatrix. >=)

Actually, Traditional means 'No Banlist' and that's all.
Whatever rulings applied to the advanced format would pretty much still apply there.

And yes, SPK would be able to help you out in the Registration department.
As long as you enter the tournament, you'll be assigned a number.

lol...if I could convince more people to play M:TG, as well as if there was an easier way to get judge/TO certification for M:TG, I would have done it, but to get those certifications are out of my reach at this point.

Well congrats goes out to Sean Alexander, who resurrected his traditional skills to triumph in the end...and overcome Rio Charles in the final, who was unbeaten up to that point.

Seems almost repetitive, in traditional at least...but until the end of the month/beginning of the new month, another advanced tourney will be up and coming, and a new pairing scheme will be tested, so stay tuned!

UWI GM Tournament - Sunday 4th February 2007.
« Reply #796 on: January 24, 2007, 10:27:54 PM »
Well, after the relatively small turnout for the last tournament, being Traditional, the end result for that tournament was that a decision was made to host only 1 Traditional tournament a year... it's time to get back in the present day, with another tourney...and this one may suit a few players, but more headache on my part, but such is life... :)

Date: Sunday 4th February, 2007.

Venue:  Student Activity Centre, University Of The West Indies, St. Augustine.

Entry Fee: $50.

Prizes:

1st - $400 + 1 Machine Re-volt Structure Deck
2nd - $150 + 1 Machine Re-volt Structure Deck
3rd - 1 Machine Re-volt Structure Deck

(Prizes subject to change based on turnout).

Format: Advanced, Grand Melee format (NEW - details on this format will be given at the start of the tournament!).

Registration Time: 9:00am - 11:30am.

Also, I will have Machine structure decks available for sale at the event, or if you wish to order some beforehand, simply contact me (1 deck = $130).

For more info, call 748-4504.
