PC Card -> USB Adapter - where can I get it?

Well as the topic says, I may need to get an adapter that will allow me to connect a PC Card device onto a USB connection...

I may need to get it because the EV-DO offer available to UWI students have only the PC card connections left, so I want to know if anyone here may somehow know if anywhere locally has one, or may be able to ship it here, and for what cost?

rare, and new.
this model is the only one i'm finding, and sells for about $240. $225 on ebay.

given the cost, you're better off getting a usb to evdo antenna straight and using a sim card.

on more reading this was on the first page of a google search for the franklin ccu-550. you may be able to buy that from tstt.

Well if I can't get the usb connector, at least a PCI card that supports the PC card standard will help, so anyone know who may have such a device locally for sale?

$20 to $30 on newegg.

I'll guess local stores may have it for $200 to $300TT if they have it at all.

Has 4 USB 2.0 ports plus a usb Power adapter for hi-powered devices. 

( I have to emphasize the USB power adapter; some of these I/O cards out there either don't have one or give you a bulky normal adapter meaning you'd have to plug it into an outlet if you wanna use hi-powered usb devices. the USb power adapter is very convenient it draws the extra power needed from your laptop's onboard USB port.)

I ordered one last year for someone and they are quite happy with it to date.
I suggest you check for compatibility with you laptop on their site. They actually have a no-compatibility list.

I see Amazon have it for US$39 on Amazon (via CompUSA)
