Did you hear it's got an annoying Health & Safety warning on every  boot now?

That and some persons are having issues with Minis/PSP game copying to PSP. I'm holding off on this update for a while, to see if they re-release or maybe come with a 4.01

? never saw any health warning
i got PS+ and auto update on btw so idk if that bypasses it but when i turn on the system i see what auto update did (patches, upload saves to cloud, sync trophies etc) before i sign in

Don't know if this was asked before, but what is the best video format for playing movies on the ps3? and what is the best conversion software. I currently use avs video converter but sometimes the movie comes out-of-sync.

I've never dared use the PS3 as my media server.

A PC/Laptop/Netbook running XBMC is a much better fit.

I'd only recommend that to someone who cannot maintain such a setup (due to technical inability)

Actually, its a topic I've been meaning to re-open.

In case there is some new "wonder" box that does a better job than my trusty PC/XBMC combo

i rather the pc setup also, more flexiblity.

Its my bro ps3 and sony smart tv I'm currently serving files to also. The file formats are limited and it take ages to convert files from mkv.

so wanted to know the best format and converter so I'm not wasting time.

For me, xbmc is doing all I need at the moment.

cuz sometimes i read AVI's fine on ps3 and others not
Mp4 is the standard format tho

pretty sure ive played mkv's on the ps3 using the media server before seeing as most of my anime comes in that format

Man, a day I went in sheltech to purchase a game and it had a fella there playing Heavy Rain and blurting out spoilers like it had no tomorrow.Totally killed my enthusiasm for the game that day, never bothered to play it

dloading now , will let ppl know how the game stacks up to warhawk and other shooters out there

supporting CORE games and doing it well
seems like inFamous 2/Festival of Blood actually BETTER with the move  than DS3

now if only other devs would take their time and utilise it properly instead of just tackin on the option

still have evil side of I2 to play and Festival of Blood to get to over my upcoming vacation as well 

Sony should make it mandatory that all of their shooter type games use the move and not do it half assed tbh
*keeps fingers crossed that DUST 514 does it right*

Forgot to mention how awesome Festival of Blood was. All I remember was buying it, hooking up move, and played it till it done... straight no chaser. Game was dam wicked and supported move exceptionally. Only gripe is it finished too quick.

havent spent any considerable time on it
been organising some clan stuff on battlefail 3 so that eating up meh time atm. Tried early this morning but not alot of ppl were on it

to be fair tho i does do the same thing, if ur not my clan mate and got no mic informing me u intend to work as a team then i cant read ppl mind to know they want a drop, if i see them shoot d vehicle then i know they want a ride other than that i gone.

playin solo in conquest is an exercise in frustration i go ninja cap a flag and move to the next and the flag i just ninja cap already being taken again when i leave, so it just results in me running back and forth between flags

playing with more than a squad of 4 is just pure boredom. nothing to kill, no points cuz they gettin spawn camped (which still happens like half the time with a squad of 4 SyN) ppl end up leaving....just all around no fun

if the game had a better party system u wud see actual parties on the enemy team which wud result in some actual coordination on their end.

VOIP is also a serious problem on that game, and thats dice fault not the ps3 system.

Anyway we found a way to work around the lack of private matches for now to have clan matches so HOPEFULLY the game isnt as boring now but it wud still be messed up since voip is broken as hell.

this is an actual beta months before the game released unlike the demo that battlefail released

game is fun and fast paced, campin leads to defeat as ur team needs to keep pushing an advancing up the map and building new bases so sitting back means u will be in a hole as the enemy will have u pinned back at ur base spawn area

tons of strategy with the new build and battle mechanic (love this idea from lightbox, turns the game into an rts shooter)

not for the cod folk who dont like to exercise their brain muscles (yes this is a plus point, less dotish randoms building dumb sh!t like a million turrets)

very clan oriented seeing as it will give the players the ability to setup INGAME TOURNAMENTS, matches and come with a CLAN CALENDER to see what upcoming matches and events ur clan has planned.



THAT is how u do support for ur HARDCORE fans, dice and every other dev should take some notes (CCP also doin something similar with DUST 514 when it comes to scheduling matches and having a corporation (clan) calender as well)
