XMB is the name for the PS3, PSP, and Sony Bravia TV menus.

When you turn on the PS3, and that menu that goes click click, with videos, music, games, friends.. That's the XMB

All PSN members who had signed up before the outage (April 20, 2011) will be able to select two games for the PS3 and two games for the PSP systems.

You signed up after correct? You won't be able to get the free games.

Yea the section is being displayed to everyone, but they are blocking any accounts created after April 20th from accessing the content.
They pretty much didn't install a filter to prevent users (April 20th and after) from seeing the store ad.

the PS home free things is even more garbage, with the exception of the mansion garage.......other than that meh

hopefully sony dont disappoint any further than they already have this year and do something good, hopefully PSN wise, at E3

took 2 games per account (so 4 in total)

1. wipeout hd

2. dead nation

3. little big planet

4. ratchet and clank quest for booth (eu only)

and put plus on both accounts for month.

I downloaded a PSP game as well. PursuitForce. There was glitch when I tried to get Killzone (got some error code) and it never made it into the download que. That redeeming process is slow, a bit tricky and convoluted.

This error thing is really out of hand. I know it has to be with the amount of users accessing the network, but it is horrible. I downloaded a few of the free Home items (when I did get through the errors) and now I'm getting a X80710D36 error when trying to "verify purchased items" when connecting to Home. Apparently everyone is getting it.
I really hoped to enjoy watching E3 live in Home but I guess that's a no-no. At least there's the PSBlog.

About the multiple accounts. My plan was to get SSHD and WipEout with the US (which I did after winning a battle against errors), inFAMOUS and Ratchet with the UK. However, when I tried the UK store, I accessed the free games thing and it then disappeared. When I tried to go back to get my free inFAMOUS etc., nothing. In services list, it showing that I have 0 remaining redemptions for that free game thing. So I guess EU is out, except for the free dynamic themes and avatars I took with PSPlus.
Now, I'm waiting for Japan and Hong Kong to sort out their packages. I doubt India would have anything.
I guess the only thing bothering me right now is accessing Home to get the free items. I hope the traffic significantly drops before the 30 days are up.

Register a PSN Account with a different country's address.
So when you access the store, you see that country's offerings.

I finally found the inFAMOUS and Ratchet....it was in the "Downloads List" in the UK account.

Ico/Shadow coming out September.
