I'm pretty sure it's a case of 'tweak sensitivity for every game' type of scenario.

So you may actually have to 'train' your muscles all over again for each game you use it with.
In that scenario, it's definitely not as 'pick up and play' as I would like.

I don't see this replacing the DS controllers anytime soon. I see it as more of a complement.

I didn't buy the Move but I am still having fun with Modern Combat, for $8 not bad. Only issue I have is joining on other friends, some rooms are unjoinable....with that said it really takes me back to counterstrike days hehe.

the only time it would replace it is if sony do like nintendo and make the move the primary controller... so that using the move would give you a better user experience for all games...

but @ that price... that is very doubtful... they might prolly try it with the ps4

That DRM thing kinda just takes the fun out of gaming for me somehow. It's not so much whether I have a problem with the hackers or Sony for me, but just the overhanging friction, the distrust.

And it would sure kill thrift... and I'm careful about which games I go for before I take the plunge... painstakingly reading reviews, weighing pros and cons. At $60 a pop I can't afford to be flipping through games like a phone book. And the reselling option was a major plus for me.

Which, guys, brings me to a couple of questions. Where/how do you folks sell your used games?

And what's all the hubbub about Black Ops? I've been reading descriptions and I just can't figure out why it's selling like hot cakes. (This may help me make my next game choice... kinda stupid seeing that my PS3's broken... and I got Uncharted to start up the series... buttons but no pants. *sigh*)

Black Ops will continue to sell like hot cakes because when the nay-sayers are seeing all their friends playing it and they still playing the "old" game, they eventually take the plunge. lol.

I'm not too sure that this is a good time to get Black Ops though as Killzone 3 is a few weeks away, not to mention stuff like Crysis 2, Bulletstorm and Dead Space 2 hitting soon.
So far it seems alot of PS3 local folk will be taking the plunge for Killzone 3. This will be a refreshing change after MW2 and Blops.

It is comfy, accurate and immersive. It will not replace the ps3 dualshock 3 for me.
My last experience with the move controller and FPS wasn't as bad as my first encounter, I got some kills and what not, but haven't mastered it just yet. Not sure if I want to continue perfecting it as I'm perfectly fine with the dualshock controller.
Simple logic - why switch to a different control scheme when you have no complaints or issues with the one you already you use? Maybe I'm just lazy to get "good" at move controls.

@ berzerk wont replace DS3. many ppl will stick to DS because it is what they used to and many dont have the patience to , as arc put it, re-train ur muscles etc on something new

accurate yes. takes gettin used to but i can see a long range sniper being extremely effective with it

for me i can play using this probably my usual hours which is 1-3 hours of str8 gaming without feeling anything. wont recommend if u does play 12 hours str8 an ting lol. hand might start to take a beatin.

its basically wrist movements u making unless of course u wanna feel "into" the game an buy d gun attachments then ur gonna get tired extremely fast holdin that gun imo

@ apprentice alot of local folk also took the jump to kz2 as well and went back to cod after realising the game not easy and isnt a who-see-who-1st type of game. im not holdin my breath anyway for locals to all of a sudden become kz fans. I give them 2 weeks to a month before its back to the old tried and trusted cod.

as for the move kz3 and s4 campaigns definitely using it and practicing in botzone for kz3 mp both in the upcoming beta and full game. not sure if ill use it for mp as of yet but ideally if im comfortable with it i want to. u know me always like a challenge

new LS57 smg (looks like an mps...hope it behaves like the cod4 mps as well), kz1 m66 machine pistol and silenced weapons FTW!!!!
oh an the silenced versions of the m82 and sta52 ARs are burst fire not full auto so they behave completely different

oh and more on the PS Home thing

well sheltech usually gets games the friday its out
dunno if u gonna get it directly on release

Hmm will keep an eye out closer to the launch date. I feel the local places like sheltech will get it before my skybox could deliver.

true but pre order bonus > local stores....i cud wait a 2-4 days extra if so much cuz usually my skybox does deliver games round d friday of release once it have release date delivery...if not i can go pickup on d saturday or monday so i cud wait dem lil extra days an get my pre order lol

Sheltech does occasionally get big name games on launch day (MW2, BOps, MGS4, GOW3, GTA4,etc)

There is a chance you might get it from them launch day.
