So I was setting up the new PS3 on a Blink connection and noticed that it keeps giving the dreaded NAT type 3. I tried putting it on DMZ and still getting the issue. Does Blink still use that stupid firewall? I assume that would cause PS3 issues ie. Nat type 3.

I so want MAG! But the most recent hold back was the condition of my PS3. I don't know how it would be able to handle MAG. But I keep reading up on it... online and I already printed and bound an unofficial guide (don't know if that's weird lol).Quote from: woodyear99 on September 24, 2010, 11:25:19 AMSo I was setting up the new PS3 on a Blink connection and noticed that it keeps giving the dreaded NAT type 3. I read during that time that different games have various ports that need to be open. So shutting off firewall altogether should solve the problem.

Apparently a Cable TV ground isolator can resolve this issue (I would get buzzing and color issues when my cable plugged in)For technical details on ground loops check here...http://www.audioholics.com/tweaks/connecting-your-system/ground-loops-eliminating-system-hum-and-buzz

You have some pretty sweet kills in this Vice.I didn't really mind the color issues, but good to see that you got it fixed. If I could just say one thing... well it's just me really... but if the music had a lil' more"kick" to it, it woulda been baaaadd!
