Finally internal confirmation on this.

As for the FragFXs controller.
Its a good device. But only necessary if using the Dualshock 3/Sixaxis is a real bother for you.
If you're accustomed to Playstation Controllers, no need for it really.

omg, I think I'm in love.

If I get me one of these, I'd actually consider getting FPS games for the PS3.

Same goes for the 360.

Playing Halo 2 on XBOX with the keyboard and mouse (courtesy adapters) was like a dream come true.

The fragfx looks to do the same for the PS3.

Also, the XFPS has a PS3 version about that offers keyboard and mouse support for games.

Both of these ain't cheap, but if you game seriously and come from a PC FPS background, they could make wading into the console wars that much easier.

Are they going to bring XMB - game launching, ie join someone's game from the friends list instead of having to go into Home each time? Home is cool but a hassle to load up each time u want to join a friend's game...

Well not really two UIs, Home offers new features and has room for growth. They should just add some of these features to the XMB.

Having an apartment is pretty cool lol

I think it will finally bring the ability to login with more than one psn id at a time. Resistance 2 patch releases this Thursday which allows the second player in coop to use their own PSN id. I recall Insomniac saying that they needed a firmware patch before they could do this so I'm pretty sure at least 2 accounts will be accessible simultaneously now.

Its past the usual time frame sony releases updates.

So its either next week Tuesday.
Or they might release it tomorrow or some random day. (following a GDC announcement.)

or are still signed in?

Because it seems millions of people just got kicked off the network.
That has never happened before.
Even if maintenance was taking place, users will still able to remain signed in.

Yea this is the first week PSN has given so much problems.
It started when the COD:WaW map pack went live, crashed the playstation store.

THen went down saturday night, then tonight.

Network is back up though...took sony less than 20mins to fix it.

Firmware out either l8r 2day or tomorrow as the R2 patch comes on the 26th an insomniac stated dat multiple logins arent possible until sony does a firmware update to allow this

guess what for those who don't know the upcoming R2 patch brings back the Meltdown game mode for competitive, some coop addition AND MULTIPLE PSN LOGINS so d firmaware hadda come either today or tomorrow

Home is actually decent. Thought it would be lame but I can see myself hanging out on that during some idle moments.

Would be cool if we could create our own room, like a trini room on there with some local liming spots done up in 3d.
