"It's nice to see the system selling much better than six months ago. But is it a sustainable trend? Is it going to really escalate from here? I'm not so sure."
Im pretty sure as long as the sales spiked like they did in Japan this month they will increase....pretty much a no brainer. 1 the fad is "catching on" and 2 the gamers are giving PS3 a chance rather than "dat ting too expensiva na" bs talk.
funny people talk about game length. For me its just right. Maybee because i dont have days to sit down and play a game for hours and hours on end (WOW excluded). I usually play a max of about 4 hours a day.....either one shot (in the case of Mass Effect) or through the day.Besides i prefer quality over quantity.
i would agree with you to a point, but i would also need to consider the price i paid for a game before determining if it was long enough.Remember that we do not have the benefit of Gamefly here in the region as yet so for us all games would have to be either purchases or those borrowed from a 'padna'. And if it is you buy it and it ends in under 5 hours... well
What you don't understand is corporate politics. Microsoft wants both formats to fail so they can be heroes and make the world move to digital downloads. That is the dirty secret no one is talking about. That is why Microsoft is handing out $100 million dollar checks to studios just embrace the HD DVD and not the leading, and superior Blu Ray. They want confusion in the market until they perfect the digital downloads. Time will tell and you will see the truth.
@ Redlum....the day u join the dark side...post it up with your Playstation Network ID And we go organise a sweat...What games u plan to pick up?
what size TV you have?Anything smaller than 36 inches or so doesnt need HD or Blu Ray
32 inch tv is what I have in my room and it's pretty clear already.
