Things not mentioned about the PS3...

> Its title font was inspired by the Spiderman movie....how cool is that?

> It scans documents at a speed of 3" per second... and thaz real fast ppl, take what I say.

> The controller supports a bicycle attachment... coming out in Oct 2006.

> It is the most advanced grill design ever concepted...too bad George Foreman, your days are numbered.

> The black model matches any outfit.

> The white model matches your refrigerator.

> The gray model matches your outfit and the refrigerator.

> It comes in two other colors not shown here...Mint Blue and Camoflauge.

> The controller was designed for portabilty....it fits snuggly on your shoulder or nose-bridge.

If you are seriously interested by these features and want to find out more great information...please go to
www.trinidadhelpcircle.com/st_anns/check_in854900  sometimes the site gives trouble so keep trying....

To those not interested...sorry about adding "crap" to the thread  ^_^

lol at bungie...... ya'll shot in the dark and picked the losing team sorry..... and we are still not sure if the kill zone stuff is prerendered we thought that about some of the halo 2 stuff as well which turned out to be gameplay.......... it wud be kind of a cheap move by sony to put the idea of gameplay into people's heads using a cg first person mode.... but thats just me.... Sony never lets me down (Nex Gen Wars Round 2 PS3 the pre-determined winner!!!!!)

the blue disc if u watched the coverage was in anticipation of the blue disc technology coming out and its not geared towards games but more towards movies.... as if u know their entertainment division is no longer handling playstation but more their electronics divison so its more planning ahead for the future the emergence of the technology a very smart business move if i do say so... as a biz student... because the nex gen consoles can peek only on HDTV and you cannot fit an HDTV movie on a DVD all us computer tekkies know high quality equals videos equals more space (eg: Aone-Naruto :s) so don't knock it until you know all the facts

and i think the industry is capapable of handling the consoles i mean the technology to run DOOM3 at peek is only now coming out (ATI 512mb yay!!) and look when it came out...... so i think that means the developers creativity is out running the current technoloical growth.
these power houses will now let developers push their imaginations to the limit giving us a higher quality gaming experince which is what we (ME!!) want.

peace
HTK 4 LIFE
Final fantasy rulez all... hehe...
doh rev

Well I cant speak for the other games, but I would like to make a correction about Killzone being CGI. ITS NOT!

Enjoy!

(btw, you can still continue to speculate and "hate" on the ps3, but as far as im concerned, so far NOTHING can touch it :D)

one more thing...FF does rule!

man i'm really liking what i'm hearing/seeing. Usually the releasing titles don't get my attention but with games like Tekken 6, Devil May Cry 4 and Metal gear 4! geez i might have to start saving for this

only thing though is that i have to say bubye to the traditional PS controller...... sad, i loved it so much.... this boomerang thing kind of scarin me a bit.

yeah, the best example of this is Ultima and Mortal Kombat.
Going from a few megabytes to gigabytes of data

Production from a few weeks, to years.

Production Team from a 1 man show to hundreds.

All to produce a product that sits on the shelf and retails for the same price as it did when it cost a fraction to create.

SNES games cost TT$600.00 back in 1990s. they were 3-4mb in size.

You pay the same price nowadays for games with 3-4GB of content.

PRESSURA!

as for those controllers, I won't be too concerned, given the number of crazy adapters already in my possession. Certainly there will be adapters available to give you your weapon of choice on the new consoles.

Proof in the pudding that Playstation 3 = PURE PLAYSTATION PWNAGE.

What's giving me a true geek-gasm right now is the promise of real-time graphics, and the ability for the system to perform at twice the processing power of the PS2. That Final Fantasy teaser just made me smile deep down inside. In other words, I WANT IT. GIMME, GIMME, GIMME.

...the only downside to that whole system is the control, though.
I don't like it. I like my original PS2 control good enough without it being changed into some freaking chrome boomerang. Why fix it if it ain't broke, Sony? WHY?

So can't you tape the RealTime footage and just have the box there for display?

...you guys crack me up, sometimes.

Imperial_X is right, laertes.
Besides which, the most graphically impressive parts of the game may not be until halfway through it.
What's wrong with videotaping the parts you want to show off to the gamers?

man sony ent even have the system as yet, otherwise i sure they would have shown something @ E3, not a single person used the actual system there.

You know, you kinda sounding worried...

Sony is going to have the ps3 ready and most likely playable at TGS. They still have a long way to go. If they had the system ready now for playable demos for e3, you think that we would have to wait till quite next year for it?
