lol so basically... Sony removed the OtherOS feature BEFFFFOOOREEEE they found a crack.. and only after they did... Hotz went and find a crack in it, then they released firmware 3.21 to kill the OtherOS feature from all older Playstations...

so in short.. nope.. there was no cracking/pirating prior to OtherOS/Linux removal... between "OtherOS removal" and 3.21 there may have been some pirating on Older models due to the Hotz hack...

either way in short... Sony removed OtherOS BEFORRREE cracking was done

they removed it from slims cuz it was a worthless feature and they killed it on older 1s thanks to geo hacking it and it was used to run pirated games.

Bottom line, d hacks started after d removal of linux, so weather how u look at it, weather dey remove linux for pirating, weather what was d case, is a mute argument, cause d bottom line, being hacked up d ying yang constantly, and psn service being down till who knows when, is Worse.

infamous 2 and Uncharted 3 for me yes... might have a couple others but those two are certainly on my pre-list...

zerk.. i think you should take the one piece of sensible advice Blu_Vice gave...
stop worrying about when it coming back because any ETA they give will be mostly vague and untrue... so look to see how much SP or PC games you could run in the mean time yes lol...

that actually sounding like a good Idea yes. only game I was sweatin was killzone 3 mp tbh.
With Psn down, ps3 is a brick in the corner now. and lil tired of the constant back and forth with dates of full recovery and the like.

Sony need to fix they mix and stop leading people on. its either the damn ting being recovered soon or it will take a good while longer, stop stringing people along dammit.

sorry for the rant but had a real stressful sleep depraved week, and was looking forward to psn being up for the weekend...long dutty watery steups.......
