these guys are crazy...

i followed teh various links and barring any confusion with currency conversion and companring US markets and Canadian Markets....

This is just too much friggin Money! I doh buy upgrade versions.... so that leave full versions. Sorry, Bill... XP for me.

I'll buy OEMs of XP Pro and MCE 2005, yes... those OSes doing what I want them to do...

Those are indeed some high prices, but as with all things, when newly released, the prices are always high until they drop as time goes by.

Just as i opened this thread i got an auto email from Microsoft indicating that there's a pre RC1 build available weighing in at 2.58gb. Downloading now. Should be finished in about 12 hours. Will post findings after install.

heh.  Certainly haven't read anything that would change my vote on Vista.  However, the triple boot idea wasn't too bad...in the other thread.  We should prolly mesh the 2 threads.
